Chapter 20: Still Beautiful

Dear Highlight,
I hope this letter find you well. I'm sorry that I can't be there to witness your end of year concert. I really wish I can witness that smile on your faces. Eventhough I may not be able to witness it but I know you will ace it well. These past 8 years, all of you showed the industry that a 'recycled' group can go higher than everybody! BEAST and Highlight will always be my number one boy group! Thank you for allowing me to be your friend eventhough it was a short period! DooJoon Oppa, you are a great leader. You lead the group well and always reminding them to be humble. JunHyung Oppa, you are a great composer and second leader. You composes awesome songs and always care for the rest. Kikwang Oppa, you are a magnificent dancer. You always look cool and handsome when you dance. DongWoonie, you are really a golden maknae. You energise your hyungs well even you are not at the best yourself. Lastly, my goodfriend Yoseob Oppa, you are really my favourite singer after all these years. You sing with your heart and that's what make me fall for you. I'm sorry I have to leave but I will always be in your heart. The girl will come back to you,Yoseob oppa! I love all of you. Please take care of yourselves and each other as well.

"Thank you Eunbi for reading it for us," cries JunHyung.

EunBi wipes her tears and hugs JunHyung. The rest of the boys are crying as well. They bury Sally's ashes today and the letter was given to the boys. The boys asked EunBi to read as they know they have no strength to read out loud.

Yoseob is holding a picture of them with Sally at their last concert. EunBi stares at the picture and realises something.

"She was there with me during the concert! She shouts like crazy and even helped me up when I almost fell. She said that you guys are so special to her plus HyunSeung oppa too," cries EunBi.

The boys cries harder after hearing that. EunBi pats KikWang and DongWoon and reassures the rest. Yoseob wipes EunBi's tears.

"Let it out," whispers EunBi.

EunBi excuse herself and goes to the kitchen. This just feels like the night she lose her father, same sadness but just different person. She doesn't know why she is feeling so sad despite not knowing her well.

"EunBi-ah..." calls Yoseob.

EunBi wipes her tears and face Yoseob. She tries to smile but tears still well up.

"The girl will come back to you. She was right. You did come back to me," says Yoseob as he wipes another tears off EunBi's cheeks.

EunBi hugs him tightly. Yoseob continues to cry again. An emotional day for them.

"Yoseob-ah..."calls JunHyung from outside.

Yoseob and EunBi head out together.

"HyunSeung wants to meet us," says JunHyung as he looks at Yoseob.

The sadness in his eyes diminishes and it changes to anger. EunBi held his arm.

"For what?" says Yoseob angrily.

"We called and messaged him but he didn't even bother to reply! Sally wanted to see him but he ignored us!" shouts Yoseob.

"Hyung..."calls DongWoon.

"Let's listen to his reasons," advices DooJoon.

"NO! I DON'T WANT TO LISTEN TO HIS REASONS!"

EunBi is shocked by Yoseob's anger. She look at JunHyung and shakes her head asking them to stop. EunBi pulls him back to the kitchen.

"Calm down please."

"Mian,hearing his name makes me angry. All 5 of us tried to contact him even through our old manager but he did not reply us. Even his messages were not read. How could he do this?"

"Maybe that's why he is regretting now?"

"Regret?"

"Not answering and visitting Sally unnie for the last time? No matter what his reasons, let's just meet him. Not for him,not for us but for Unnie," says EunBi calmly.

Yoseob sighs and he nods. EunBi goes out and tells them to invite him here. She asks all of them to rest first while she makes some drinks. The rest of boys just stare at blank spaces. They were involved in the funeral process and all. She goes to the kitchen and let out a loud sigh.

neowa hamkke haetdeon shigan.." sings EunBi as she cries yet again.

"modeun ge areumdawosseo" continues Yoseob.

Both of them just smile sadly while standing side by side.

"I'm glad to have you with me now," says Yoseob.

"I'm glad I am here for you," whispers EunBi.

Yoseob pulls EunBi and asks her to rest too. When they go out of the kitchen, all the boys are fast asleep. EunBi brings up the tenperature to warm her cafe. EunBi and Yoseob sit on a couch and Yoseob puts his head on EunBi's right shoulder. EunBi just relaxes her body. When they were about to fall asleep, EunBi heard a knock on the door.

"Kaja," says Yoseob.

EunBi asks Yoseob to open the door while she wakes the boys up. Yoseob opens and is greeted by a teary HyunSeung. DooJoon approaches them and immediately,Yoseob walks away.

All 7 of them sit and stay quiet. Yoseob sits in between EunBi and Kikwang.

"I'm sorry," says HyunSeung softly.

"That's all you can say?"

Yoseob can feels anger building up in him. EunBi senses it and held his hands.

"Why were you not answering us?" asks KikWang.

"Ego."

"That's all you can give us,HyunSeung? Serious?" questions JunHyung who seems to get angry too.

"Because he does not want to witness somebody precious to him being buried right in front of him again," says EunBi calmly.

She knows that look. Fear. HyunSeung is scared that his strong front will crumble in front of everybody. All the boys turn and look at her. She wipes her tears and manages a smile.

"Jaesunghaeyo," cries HyunSeung suddenly.

DooJoon approaches him and hugs him. It followed with Kikwang and DongWoon. JunHyung and YoSeob keep quiet. After the 4 of them break away from the hug, Yoseob and JunHyung approach HyunSeung and hugs him.

"Unnie, you must be proud of them.It's still beautiful," cries EunBi.
