3. Discovered

I kept researching for the past 2 months, and not ONE thing matched!! That is untill now.

I went to school, and saw him by his locker.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" I asked him.

"Um...sure."

We walked outside, and sat on the bleachers.

"I know what you are," I said matter of factly.

"What am I?" He asked in a challenging voice.

"You're a...vampire....What Kane said...everything was true!"

"I really wished you wouldn't have found out. I really like it here, and I don't want to leave, but for you safety, I must."

"I don't want you to."

"I have to."

"No, you don't. I won't tell anyone what you are."

"Why should I stay, if it endangers your safety?"

"Because I want you to. Whether you're a vampire or not doesn't bother me. You saved my life, so my safety isn't at risk now is it?"

"Yes, it still is. I'm not something you want to be around. I may be different form the others, but that doesn't mean that your blood doesn't sing to me."

I went silent, my brown eyes grew wide with fear. What did he just say?!

"Now do you want me to stay?"

I nodded, even though he said that, I still wanted him around, kinda stupid, but I don't care.

"You realize what danger you put yourself in being in my presence?"

"I don't care."

"You should."

"But I don't. I trust you."

He froze, and stared at me for a long moment before speaking.

"You shouldn't," he said and a second later he was gone.

"Please consider how much DANGER you'll be in! This isn't some kind of joke, I could KILL you, and a mere second!!"

"I know you're strong, but can't we at least be friends?"

"Are you insane?! You want to be friends with something that can KILL you?! You might as well be friends with a murder!!!"

"If you think I'm in such grave danger, then leave!" I said as tears streamed down my face.

Edmind came closer to me,"Goodbye then, Eliza."

"Goodbye, Edmind."

And he was gone.
