Heading to the gates of the Soul Society I put on my game face. Nobody know’s, nobody suspects anything, nobody understands what I hide. No one knows how much emotional pain I go through. Scars, bruises, bleeding wounds. All of them are emotional, or at least most of them. I have friends I should confide in, but I’m too scared to. Afraid they’ll turn away, won’t listen, won’t understand. My father, the main man in my life that I’ve tried to make proud, treats me like I’m shit. My mother can’t do anything. I bottle all these feelings up and try not to let them out.
“Ash! Wait up!” A familiar voice interrupted my thoughts of life and how or if I was ever going to make it through. It turns out I was being followed for a few miles before my name was called out. “Ugh. I’m letting my guard slip. I need to stay focused on what’s around me instead of spacing off and thinking about idiocy.” I mumbled to myself just as the red hair idiot, Renji, came up beside me and sets his pace with mine. I call him Red because of his hair.
“How’s it goin’?” Renji asked trying to act sly. “What’s up with the face you’re giving me?” Poking me in the face. Oh man poking me in the face was a bad idea at the time. I had a rough night and I didn’t plan on having a rough morning, which is why I left my house before anyone else was awake, but Renji was bound to make my day a living hell. Instead of giving him a reply I just looked straight ahead and kept walking. “Hey! Don’t ignore me. Don’t forget that you better lose your attitude before you go through the gates. You’re grandfather won’t be happy with you.” Red snidely spat. “Too late.” I snipped back walking through the gates and into the Soul Society.
“Just be careful around Captain Kuchiki Byakuya. He didn’t seem happy this morning. Anyways why are you here? Don’t you have school today with Inchigo and the others?” Red asked. This time I gave his questions their answers. “I’m staying here for a few days. I already asked my grandfather and he agree that I could. Thing’s aren’t going good at home I guess you could say.” I felt his hand on my shoulder and he spoke low as we walked to see my grandpa. “If thing’s get any worse you might end up living here ya know. I don’t know what’s going on in your life, but if there’s anything I could do to help let me know. But since you’re living here at the time you’ll have to do your part and help contribute.” Renji snickered at the last things he said. We arrived at the location my grandpa was at. Turns out Renji was sent to get me because a meeting of everyone who was anyone was being called, and it looked like we were the last ones to get there. Everyone stared at me as I walked to stand at my grandpa’s side.
“Now that everyone’s here. Lets continue.” I got glares from a lot of people crouching and standing in the big crowed. I glared right back and let out a growl which startled other people throughout the crowd. My grandfather gave me a sideways glare and I replied with a smirk. “Now that we have that situation under hand, there is the matter of who my granddaughter will be living with. Are there any volunteers? Keep in mind that if any of you have trouble with her you may report it to me.” Grandfather stated this while giving my a stern look. I smiled sweetly as if I were an innocent child and I had no clue what he was talking about. I spoke aloud so everyone could hear still smiling, “I prefer to stay on the roofs if you don’t mine grand-papi.” Without waiting for his reply I jumped into the air when I was stopped dead in my tracks. Byakuya began to speak to my grandfather while giving me an ice cold stare down. “With all do respect Captain General, if you wish her to stay out of trouble I suggest you might want to keep her under your watch.” Oh hell no he did not just go there I couldn’t hold it back any longer. I let out a scream and had my fighting outfit on in a flash with one of my twin swords against his. “SHUT UP AND STAY THE FUCK OUTTA MY BUSINESS YOU NOSEY FOOL! I AM NO CHILD, I DON’T NEED TO BE WATCHED 24/7! Ugh, I hate you so much that looking at you makes me sick.” I shoved of his sword and put my right twin back into it’s sheath. My fighting outfit was black and the collar came up to my chin. My hair had gone to its true form and color of white and silver with a length that went to my butt. My eyes showed their true color of ice blue.
