Jungkook's intense doe gaze never left Jimin as the other read through the small letter in his nightstand.

The older of the two studied the words in the card with surprise that didn't go unnoticed by the teenager, who slowly crept closer to Jimin so he could read the message along side him.

Jungkook was a bit startled when the other suddenly gave a little curious hum as he finished reading it. His face had an amused but equally distrusting spirit to it that made the younger omega grow immediately wary.

"So... this person, 'Kim Namjoon', is the one who apparently got you out of that alley and 'found' you?", Jimin questioned, crossing his arms in suspicion.

The hospitalized boy gulped. How come when this particular hyung got protective he also turned so intimidating? He wasn't used to this facet of the smaller man's personality. Mainly because most of the time it wasn't directed at him.

"Um, yeah... That's apparently what happened. I even asked Nurse Yu if she knew anything, and she said that yes. That's what actually happened."

Jimin reread the note for the hundredth time, frowning at the unfamiliar calligraphy.

"And has he visited you yet? It says here that he plans to come by someday."

"Well, not that I know of.", Jungkook scratched his head carefully, "I haven't seen him around."

"But are you sure you want to see him? I mean, you don't know him or anything, you don't even know how he looks like!"

Jungkook adverted his dark eyes shyly.

"I'm not sure... For all I know he could actually be nice... he did send me a note after all... and flowers.", Jimin continued staring at him, scrutinizing gaze unmoving. The younger omega was startled when the other sighed and nodded approvingly at the mysterious man's possible introduction.

"Okay. I'll let you meet him on one condition. I'll stay in the room with you and am under no excuse leaving you alone.", Jungkook bowed his head in agreement, feeling at bit pressured by Jimin's overly fussy attitude towards the whole thing, "That is unless a doctor tells me to, but they better have a really convincing reason for that."

"Hyung, you're not my mom.", the younger muttered.

"No, I'm not, but your real mom gave me permission to take care of you until she comes back, so I guess that counts as a bit of authority?", Jimin's manly overconfidence started to fade away until his usual, amiable personality took its place once again, causing a teasing smile to appear in the smaller man's lips as he watched his friend. "So! I heard they have some really cool board games around here, we're in Pediatrics after all! Is there anything you'd like to play, Kookie?"

"Not really..."

"Come on! Let's do something to kill time while we wait for Tae.", Jimin whined.

Jungkook shrugged nonchalantly. He really hoped Taehyung would arrive punctually on this occasion. He never did, and the young omega needed someone else's company beside Jimin's.

"Well then I guess I'll choose the game. I'll get Nurse Yu to tell me where they are so we can start.", he stopped as he was about to leave through the door, grinning mischievously at Jungkook, "Maybe this time I'll actually win at Twister!"

The younger omega almost halfheartedly threw the present Jimin gave him through the room to hit him, but the other had unfortunately ran away quickly at the sign of violence.

Jungkook thought to himself how sad it was that the only way his hyung could win against him in Twister was when Jungkook was literally unable to move from his bed.
