Chapter 2

Aaron's POV

I was in my black car with my Gamma and one of my best friends Travis. We are heading to the O'Kasis pack, the second biggest and strongest pack in the world. I was going to a meeting with the Alpha, to settle somethings.

"We're here." I heard Travis say, as we pulled up to the pack house. The two of us got out and walked to the pack house door and nocked on the door. Immediately after we heard footsteps and the front door opened up to show the Alpha. "Alpha Aaron" he politely said, "Alpha Ein" I said back the same way.

"Welcome, come in. We'll go up to my office" he said while leading us upstairs. We followed him upstairs, "I would like to get this over with, so I can go home." He turned and looked at me, then turned back around, "of course Alpha Aaron. But would you like to stay and join us for dinner tonight?" It would be rude of me to say no, so I politely said yes.

"Great!" He said as we continued to his office. Helf way to the door the most delicious sent hit me, it was a mixture of chocolate and roses. It smelled so good, I wanted to follow it and go see where it leads, but I pushed it away. We entered his office and the meeting began.

After the meeting we started for the dinning room to eat. Through out the meeting I was very deatracted, and I still was. Travis my Gamma and one of my best friends noticed that I was totally out of it. He mind linked me, "hey dude, Whats up?"

"I can smell this most delicious smell man" I smiled like an idiot . "You know what this means man?" He was really excited now. He knew that I found his luna, and I know he cant wait to meet her. "Maybe she'll be at dinner" I was hoping, still smiling.

We entered the dinning room just as other pack members started to fill in. We walked over to the table and sat down. I watched all the girls as they walked in, but none of them were my mate. I started to grow sad, Travis seemed to notice and asked me through the mind link if I was ok. "She's not here" I replied in a sad tone.

"Sorry dude, maybe she's not coming for dinner" he apologized feeling sorry for me. I looked over at Alpha Ein, "may I use your bathroom?" I ask respectfully. He looked up at me and said yes and told me the derections. I got up and walked out of the dinning room, but instead of going to the bathroom, I went in search of my mate.

I walked up the stairs to Eins office. The sent was faded but was still there a hint. I followed the sent down hallways and up stairs until I hit a door were the sent was strong, but what was confusing was that the door I was infrunt of was the door to the attic.

I opened the door slowly and the cool air flew down. I walked up to a small room, the light was already on. In the corner of the room was a young girl, and she was laying on a thin makeshift bed.
