Chapter 11

Aaron's POV

Jessica came out looking tired, "she's all good Alpha. You can go in to see her, but please Alpha don't push her" she bowed and walked away. I got up from the chair that I have been sitting on for hours.

I walked into the room and walked over to Aph, her beautiful skin was pale very pale. I brought a chair over that was sitting near a window. I sat down next to her bed, taking her hand in mine. I felt the sparks and smiled. "I'll protect you my little potato" I whispered to her as I kissed her temple. I layer my head on the bed beside her, and let the sleep take my under.

Aphmau's POV

I woke up on a very uncomfortable bed, and a throbbing head. I opened my eyes just to close then again cause of a blinding bright light. I tried again as my eyes slowly adjusted to the light. Where am I? I look around at my surroundings, I'm laying on a very uncomfortable bed in a room that looks like a hospital. I look to my side to see Aaron holding my hand and fat asleep.

The last thing I remember is talking to my mother, then everything came crashing back. The crashing growls, me panicking and fainting, and Aarons face before everything went dark. Was it him? I started to panic again, my body shaking. Out of instinct I squeezed my hand, forgetting that Aarons hand was holding it.

Through the panic I felt the bed dip, I looked over seeing Aaron looking concerned. "Hey hey, it's ok" he quickly whispered as he brought me into his embrace. He held me close in a protective and safe hold, "calm down, nobodies going to hurt you."

We stayed like that for a while, I had calmed down, and was enjoying being in his safe loving arms. "Hey you hungry?" He asked after a while. Right on que my stomach let out a loud growl. I started to blush, so I hid my face in his chest. "You don't have to hide that blush from me, little potato" he laughed as he lifted my head up to look at him.

Little potato? Why that nickname? I must of had a questionable look on my face cause he laughed again. "What's wrong?" He asked as he pushed some of my hair behind my ear. "Why little potato?" I asked. My shyness and worry going away. He looked a little taken back by me being more out there. I won't lie, it was weird for me too.

But he recovered and smiled at me, "cause your short like and potato." He got up off the bed, once he was off he held out his hand for me, "let go get some food." I got up on my own and smiled at him as I walked out the door. I heard him come up behind me to long later.

We walked into the kitchen to get food. I walked over to the table where my mother was sitting. "Mom" I said as I hugged her. I looked at Aaron to see his surprised and confused face. I couldn't help but laugh at that. "This is your mom? I thought you didn't have family?" Her asked after he snapped back to himself. I shook my head at him, "when you left me in the living room, we started to talk. That's when I found out what happened." I smiled. "Well I'm happy for you babe" he smiled and pulled me in for a loving hug.

He went over to make us food, and I sat down with my mom. "So is he your mate?" She asked. She was going into her protective mother state. I smiled, I've always wanted a loving caring mother. "Yea, he is" I said happily as I looked over at him. I looked back to my mother, to see her smiling. "Well he better not hurt you" she said more serious. I smiled and laughed at her, "I'm happy I found you, I've always wanted a loving caring mother."

Aaron finished cooking and then joined us at the table. As we ate we talked about this and that. I was enjoying this, no beatings, no fear, but love and happiness.
