(Kanako's P.O.V.)
"Where've you been?!" Yelled Deidara as he was crushing me in his hug.
The moment I walked into the base, I was attacked by the blonde teen, who was apparently, 'worried sick.'
I tapped his back and struggled to say, "Deidara...can't breathe."
He quickly let go of me and scratched the back of his head, "Oh, sorry."
"It's okay!" I replied, smiling at him, "I gotta go put some stuff in my room if that's okay." I said, running to my room with my scrolls in my hands.
I put down all but two, and decided to open them later. I took the other two scrolls and walked out, trying to sense a certain red-head's chakra.
I quickly arrived at his room and knocked on the door, "Hey, can I come in?" I asked.
The door unlocked, and I heard a voice from the other side say, "Fine."
I opened the door and greeted the doll-like man, "Hello Sasori." I said, giving him a small smile.
He didn't look up at me, and continued working on whatever he was working on, "Hello Kanako, what are you doing here?"
"Well, when I was out shopping with Konan, I remembered hearing you say that you were out of some ingredients for your potions and puppets, and that you were going to have to make due with what you had, until you could go out, so I...decided to get what I thought you might need." I said, holding out the scrolls, "I hope this is ok."
Sasori looked at me weirdly, than took the two scrolls. He opened them up and unsealed the items from inside them.
He inspected them, than looked at me and slightly smiled, "Thanks." He said, looking away soon after.
I knew he was expecting me to leave soon, but I still wanted to know what was up with him.
"Hey Sasori?" I asked, "Do you think that I could hang out with you for a while, and watch you work?"
"Why?" Asked Sasori, looking up at me from his chair.
"Well...you are one of the most tolerable Akasuki members here, aside from Konan. And I wanted to know if you could maybe teach me how to control puppets?" I asked carefully, trying not to make him mad.
"Alright, fine." He replied, pulling over another chair. He pat the chair, telling me to sit down. I walked over to the chair, and plopped down next to him, looking at him happily.
"Alright...where should I start." He said, getting out some materials to make small puppets.
---
After a wile, I was able to make my own small puppet, and could control it using chakra strings.
Sasori then gave me a bigger, fighting puppet, and told me to figure it out myself, while he worked on a project.
I had gotten the basics of fighting down, all I had to do now, was put it all together.
Konan's P.O.V.
I concentrated hard on my work, almost finished.
I had decided to go to the village yesterday to get the materials needed to make Kanako her own Akasuki robe, and was almost finished.
I carefully sewed on the last cloud, finishing the cloak. I held it up so I could see the whole thing, than hung it on a hanger, and walked with it to Kanako's room, and knocked on her door.
She didn't answer, so I assumed she was out, and walked inside. I hung the cloak up in her closet, and left a note saying that it was from me on it.
I than walked out of her room, shutting the door and walking back into my room, to work on something else, not important.
Kanako's P.O.V.
After a while of working with the bigger puppets, I had finally gotten the hang of it, and could fight pretty well with two decently sized puppets.
I looked over at Sasori, who was still working on his 'mysterious' project, not letting me see.
I opened my mouth, about to say something, wen he asked me, "Do you want me to teach you how to make poisons?"
I giggled excitedly, "Yes please!"
---
After a while, I had gotten the hang if making poisons and mixtures, and was currently working on making one of her small puppets poisonous and deadly, rather than small and weak.
I soon finished, and walked over to Sasori to show it to him. To my surprise, he was still working on the same project as before.
When I approached him, he hid the thing from view, and asked, "Yes, what is it?"
I didn't say anything, and just held out the puppet for him to see.
He widened his eyes and said, "That's great! Very effective."
I beamed in pride, than looked at my chain watch, that showed me what time it was.
At the same time, Sasori spoke and said, "It's getting late, you should head to bed now."
I nodded, than before he could say anything, quickly kissed him on the cheek, and walked out of the room, not wanting to deal with an annoyed Sasori.
When I got back to my room, I opened my closet and saw a new addition to it, with a note on top.
I picked up the hand made Akasuki robe, and read the note.
It said:
'Since you are now a part of the Akasuki, I sewed you this robe to wear! I hope it fits. If it doesn't, you can come to me and I'll fix it. I'm really glad you're here!
-Konan'I smiled and put down the note. I pulled on the robe and found that It fit perfectly. I took it off and made a mental note to thank Konan later.
The robe was soon hung up, and I was in my pajamas.
'Time for bed' I thought, pulling the covers down.
'These people are too nice. I don't like it.'
'Too bad. You were the one who decided to possess me in the first place.'
After that remark, he shut up, and I fell into a deep sleep.
Sasori's P.O.V.
I sat at my desk, making sure everything I did was precise and perfect. I couldn't put a single flaw in this design.
After all...It was for someone very special...
