When the past and the future meet

The box

It's been three days since the wedding and the disappearance of Jetta. Everyone is out searching for her except Molly Weasley. Molly stayed home just in case Jetta finds her way back. She busies herself with cleaning and cooking to keep her mind off the missing girl.

While cleaning she finds an ornate wooden box engraved are swirls and flowers. The box is a dark stained wood but it looks a bit weathered as if it is quite old, on top it has the initials JE,JA. Molly assumes that this box came from someone at the wedding that it must be a wedding gift for Teddy and Victorie and she moves on to the next room completely oblivious to the box that holds all the answers she's looking for.

Late in the afternoon, the kids are back in the burrow. They have been forbidden from staying out late incase whatever happened to Jetta happens to them.

"Come on James, we won't find Jetta with that attitude!" Exclaims Rose Weasley as she try's to shake the boy out of his depression.

"It's no use Rose there isn't any trace of her anywhere it's like she just vanished off the face of the earth." Moaned James in defeat.

Just then a horrible screeching noise could be heard throughout the house. The kids rush to cover their ears and leave the bedroom to find the source of the near deafening sound.

Hugo finds the source room quickest and calls the others to search for the accursed object.

Mrs. Weasley quickly sees the box which is the only new thing on the room and rushes to use some basic disarming spells and unlocking charms. When none of them works she sends everyone out of the house and attempts to set a silencing charm on it which to her dismay also fails. Molly is quick to follow the rest of the household out into the yard where the noise is decidedly much quieter.

Not long after George finds his way home and sees the occupants of the house sitting outside a distance from the house. He makes his way over to the family in order to figure out why everyone is outside.

"There's a box" "screeching noises" "so loud" "can't make it stop" everyone starts talking at once. George can't understand everyone speaking at once so instead of asking them to speak one at a time like any logical human being would he opts to enter the house and see what the problem is for himself.

What he finds is a very familiar screech. One of his and his brothers failed prank items. He remembers working on it years ago with a little help from professor Aubrey who happened to be quite sympathetic towards the two pranksters and helped out when they needed it.

He recalled the counter charm which happened to both stop the screeching and open the box, the latter being a surprise as far as he knew the charm was only supposed to stop the noise.

Inside the box George finds letters, a few howlers and some vials which seem to contain memories, he wonders how they got here and who they are from he picks up the top one just as the rest of the household makes their way inside the now quiet house.

Dear family,                                                                                                              5/2/1998

I know this confused you and probably hurt your ears, and for that I'm sorry, but I had to make sure I got your attention. I guess I'd be correct to assume that George would be the one to fix it after all, this is one of his and Fred's inventions modified slightly to fit my needs. First off before you guys start reading all the letters I need you to gather everyone that they pertain to. Below is a list of people I'd like you to summon to the burrow for the official reading of my life story.

Potter family including Bear (Teddy)

All the Weasley family (Molly and Arthur's  desendents)

Malfoys (Scorpius and Draco for sure must be present)

With love, Jetta Estella (Jenneta Aubrey)

Once George finishes the letter everyone begins speaking and wondering how this is possible, based on the date she wouldn't even be born yet after all this is teddys birth year and she is 4 years younger than him.

George put the clue together quickly and took off to his old room after shouting at those already present to get the rest of the people on the list.

Albus sets about writing a letter to his friend Scorpious asking for his father and himself to come over to the burrow quickly.

Molly flucalls the rest of her children to gather at her home for news about jetta.

And so it begins. I apologize for the horrendousness that is this intro, I've discovered that I'm absolutely appalling at writing in anything but first person and even that's barely above earning my self a T, I'm sure professor snape would absolutely fail me based on my ability to write.
