Chelsea stopped in front of the door and knocked.
"Who is it?" shouted a rough manly voice from inside.
"Your client is here Ramos," Chelsea replied in a chirpy voice.
In a matter of seconds, the door clicked revealing a man who must've looked at least in his late twenties. With a classic handlebar mustache and flattop hair, he looked like one of those dudes from a late 80's film. "This way signora," he said curtsying, holding out the door for me.
Giving him a nod of acknowledgment I went inside. Just as Blake was about to follow the man, he put a hand on his chest making him halt in his tracks.
"Not you," said Ramos.
"I have orders to stay with her the whole time."
All of a sudden Ramos let out a squeal taking us all by surprise. "That is so romantic! ay you're one lucky woman mademoiselle" he said pinching my cheek. This man was crazy.
No wonder, I mean he works for Lucas Xander after all.
"Sit down," he said gesturing me to a chair. "Now now how are you doing in this blossoming passion-filled day m'lady," he said whilst handing me a drink which I gratefully accepted.
"Okay, I guess," I said taking a sip off my fruit juice.
"I'm okay too in case you're wondering" cut in Blake sarcastically.
Ignoring him Ramos called out for a girl asking her to get ready for the task.
"Now fiore do you have personal preferences?bob?chignon french twist? pixie? feather?"
I stared at him with a blank face. I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about.
"Ma'a-"
"Please, call me Thea."
"Thea," he said slowly as if he was talking to a child, "What kind of style do yo-"
With having to work two jobs and taking care of my sibling I didn't really have the time to get fancy haircuts. So I didn't know much about this stuff.
I twirled my finger around a strand of hair. Occasionally Lucy would cut it, saying there were split ends and how they were damaged and oh god she would go ranting for as long as she had to until I would give in and let her do it.
But that felt like ages ago and here I am getting ready for my mother-in-laws birthday party.
What the hell was that asshole thinking? I can't do this I-
"-MADEMOISELLE" shouted Ramos waving a dress at my face.
"Sorry what?"
"Do you like this dress?"
"Uh yeah it's cool"
"Good because you have no option but to wear it anyway,als- holy shit! che cavolo! it's three thirty" he said in an alarmed voice. "Where is that woman?" he muttered.
"Lay-"
"Hold on I'm coming goddamit stronzo!" screamed Layla.
"Don't call me that!" shouted Ramos.
"Then shut your trap!"
"Layla!"
She came out of the room which was facing right in front of us, slamming the door with a bang.
"One day I will cook you for dinner Ramos," she said glaring at him.
"Make sure you add some salt, sugar and some ass amor mio" he said giving her a flirtatious wink.
