Soulmate (Jungkook) ft. Jimin

Prologue

*Y/N POV*

The sun peeked into the room, filling it with the blinding light, as birds were chirping and a fresh spring breeze filled the air. I inhaled the air deeply into my my lungs, as i stretched my arms upon my head.

"Morning", a positive voice said.

With a shock, my body flinched. I exhaled, putting a hand over my heart, as i slightly chuckled.

"Sorry", my mom said. She held a small tray in her hands, as she sat lightly on my bed, putting it on my lap. "Happy birthday honey!", she said exited, kissing my forehead.

"Thanks Eomma!", i said hugging her. I looked at the tray filled with goods. All my favourite foods layed there; croissant, pancakes with chocolate sauce, tropical juice, strawberries, eggs, toast, and bacon, just waiting for me to munch em'.  (A/N: Am i the only one drooling over here??)

Just as i was about to take a bite, my dad walked in.

"Happy birthday sweetie!". "Thank you Appa!", i replied. He embraced me into a tight hug. Because i couldn't wait, i finally started too dig into my delicious breakfast, as both my parents sat on my bed. 

"We have a present for you honey", my dad started.

"Really? Where?!". My dad laughed at my excited expression.

"Its not visible", my dad smiled at me. My mom took my hand. She then slided my pajamas-sleeve, revealing my wrist with my tattoo. 

I've had my tattoo since i was born. Everyone has. Its a symbol you share with your soulmate, revealing you belong together. Thats why my mom and dad are together. They said it was love at first sight, and immediately got married. On everyones 18'th birthday, you get small signs on where you can find your soulmate. I dont know how though.

I furrowed my eyebrow at her. Why did she do that? she slowly pulled her hand away from my wrist, and smiled at it, then looking up at me. I took a big slurp of my juice.

"Our present to you is-", my dad began. "To find your soulmate".

I both chucked and inhaled my juice, causing me to breathe it out my nose. My parents looked at me in a shock. They then began laughing.

"Yah! It burns!", i said, and frowned my nose. My mom gave me a tissue. After what felt like hours, i could finally breath calmingly again.

"You ready soon?", my dad mocked me chuckling.

I just gave him a glaring *really?* look.

"Why?", I just asked. Why am i not impressed with the gesture? You see, i've never really cared about love. I've tried having a crush a couple of times, but I've just never cared about it that much. I mean... I have my parents, my friends, my family. What else do i need? Sure, it would be an adventure, but I dont need love. I have time for so much else to explore.

"Love is how your dad and i found each other", my mom said, taking her hand into my fathers. "Beside of the tattoo..." i said rolling my eyes. My mom gave me the *really?* look. "Yongseo, i was just kidding!", putting my hands up in defence.

"Even thought, we know you dont say you dont need love, we still want you to find it. "You may not even find love, but a lovely friendship!", my dad stated. He secured his hand on my shoulder. "And even if you dont find them, it'll be an inspiring adventure".

I smiled weakly at my Appa. Why does he always have to be right?

"Okay ill do it", i said with a sly smile. My parents cheered, high fifing eachother. 

(A/N: LMAO you know any parents doing that >_<)

"Great! You'll leave tomorrow", my mom said, walking out of the room.

"WHAT?!"

(A/N: Jungkook will be in the next chapter dont worry!)
