SOO JUNG can begin to understand why fans obsess over you the way they do. It shames her to say this more than anything else, considering her severe (and sometimes unjustified) aversion to men, but she can't help herself. Somehow, she finds herself comforted by you — enough so that she finds herself watching your streams. She was no longer satisfied by the relationship of a boss and an employee. But if she brought such thoughts to words, even you, who never rejects anyone, would be understandably disturbed. It was only recently that you met, after all.

How would you feel if you were confessed to by someone you only just learned the name of? Though, you've probably felt that a lot. You would think of her as no different from all the others.

That doesn't make her feel any better.

It was midnight. You were streaming again.

"The school festival? Yes, I've heard." You pop a candy into your mouth. You lean to the side to throw the wrapper into the cash, which spares you from bearing witness to the several comments that ask you to show it on your tongue. It isn't the weirdest request you've gotten, but it certainly isn't normal either. "I also heard about the auction. I'm assuming it's where you sell items?"

Oh... Oh no. You poor thing.

Well, you weren't entirely wrong. You do sell items.

It's just that people are the items, interestingly enough.

"I remember selling stuff when I was in a financial bind. I sold a sweater for a couple of dollars, but I guess I forgot to take off the labels. It had my name written on it, and I recently saw it being sold on an online auction. The last time I checked, the bid had gone up to the thousands."

Yes, JAE YEOL remembers. He won the bid, as a matter of fact. He didn't buy it with nefarious intentions. He knew that others would try to. He felt a sense of responsibility, as strange as it was, to prevent them from tainting one of your memories. Not to mention that his sister, JOY, begged for him to buy it to keep as a souvenir. It's sitting somewhere in his house, protected.

That's all he wants for you. To be safe.

"Will I participate in it? I probably will. I want to participate in the school festival as a whole. I've never gone to one before."

When you smile, Soo Jung smiles. She curses herself for it. Judging by your demeanor, you definitely don't know what the auction is actually about. She'll likewise be attending the festival, having matters of her own to attend to, so perhaps she'll participate. It would be best, if she wanted to prevent you from falling into the wrong person's hands like last time.

She was only fulfilling her role as your superior. That was all.

JONG GUN certainly begged to differ, though.
