A Heart To Big For Just One [ABO]

Chapter 5

   Mitch came upstairs smiling gently. "Hey. I thought I'd come home for my lunch." He said kissing Avery's head.

   Yamato nodded. "The spaghetti's in the kitchen and Avery doesn't want to take the injections anymore, he had sixteen today and Kenji said no sex for a couple weeks, then he said Avery's body isn't meant for carrying children." He said softly.

   Mitch sat on the bed stroking the omega's cheek. "I'll make a deal with you. Once you give birth we'll stop the injections. You'll need them if you want out babies to be strong and healthy." He said. Avery whimpered but nodded.

   Yamato bit his lip softly but nodded. "I'll go get you a bowl of spaghetti, which one do you want Mitch?" He asked as he got up and walked towards the door with a stretch.

   "I don't care." He said cradling Avery gently rocking slightly. "Eat love. Those babies are hungry."

   Yamato shrugged. "I'll get you the vegan spaghetti then." He said before going down stairs and serving them both a bowl, hoping Avery would eat.

   Mitch fed Avery whispering to him gently smiling. Avery looked down looking guilty.

   Yamato came up with two more vegan spaghetti's. "Here's yours." He said placing Mitch's bowl on the nightstand near him.

   "Thanks." He smiled. "Our omega is hiding something from us." He said watching Avery sink down.

   Yamato nodded. "What is it Avery? Usually you don't try to hide this much." He said as he watched the Omega.

   Avery mumbled something under the blankets stealing another bit of spaghetti.

   Yamato tilted his head slightly. "What was that love?" He asked not being able to hear the Omega.

   Mitch leaned down listening to him say it again. "You kissed Kenji?" He asked watching the omega nod and whimper.

   Yamato started walking towards the door and he went to get a jacket so he could go for a walk, not wanting to burst in front of Avery or Mitch.

   "Stay here baby." Mitch said getting up following him. "Yamato?" He asked. "What's wrong?"

   Yamato didn't look back to Mitch as he got his jacket on. "Nothing's wrong Mitch...just tell Avery that I went to grab some more clothes from my house, the one I used to live in since all my clothes here are dirty,"

   "I can do laundry for you. You walking away like this is just going to upset him. He already feels guilty enough."

   "It's not like I'm not coming back. He'll only feel guilty for a few days, it's not like it's never happened before, that's why I'm here isn't it?" He said while turning back to look at Mitch. "Or does he still feel guilty from the time he and I first kissed?"

   "Of course he does. You know how emotional he is. He doesn't want to upset anyone because it upsets him." He explained.

   Yamato grit his teeth. "I'll be back later, maybe he'll have less to regret by then." He said through his teeth before going out and slamming he door behind him, heading towards his car.

   Avery whimpered locking the bedroom door hiding away tearing up feeling worse.

   Yamato gets in his car and drives to his house which is a few blocks away and he pulls into the driveway before going into the house and getting some more clothes.

   Mitch sighed having to get back to work hating leaving Avery by himself. Sending Yamato a text to hurry back.

   Yamato drives back as soon as he had more clothes and he went back up to the room Avery was in. "Hey can you open the door?" He asked, rather calm now.

   Avery opened the door looking at the floor tears falling quickly. "I'm sorry..." He whimpered.

   Yamato ruffled Avery's hair softly. "Don't cry Avery it's not your fault." He said as he came in and sat on the bed.

   Avery crawled on the bed with him. "My back hurts..." He whispered laying on his chest. "I'm sorry I'm a whore..."

   Yamato started nuzzling Avery's cheek softly. "It's not your fault Avery, it's mine." He said softly while holding the Omega closer.

   Avery looked up at him his hair a mess again. "What do you mean?" He asked leaning against him.

   Yamato nuzzled Avery's head softly. "You're only upset because I got upset." He said before kissing Avery's forehead softly.

   Avery  turned more reaching up to kiss him gently his cheeks turning red. "I love you Yamato."

   Yamato kissed Avery back softly. "Oh do you~?" He asked playfully with a grin before nuzzling the Omegas neck. "I know I love you~! Now you show me how much you love me~!" He said happily.

   Avery kissed him again still blushing. "I don't know how." He said cuddling him

   Yamato sighed softly before nodding. "Yeah I guess that makes sense..." He muttered under his breath quietly while stroking Avery's hair gently.

   "Tell me how?" He requested softly holding his hand leaning into the touch.

   Yamato shook his head softly. "It's fine love, don't fret." He spoke as soft as he could before kissing his forehead softly.

   Avery nodded, slowly falling asleep against him purring softly his body relaxing.

    Yamato let out a small sigh of relief when Avery fell asleep and he smiled. "There's no need to blame yourself, just blame me for whatever's troubling you my love." He said, hating to see his mate in pain, kind of glad that Avery wasn't awake when he said that.

   Avery's bowl sat on the nightstand half eaten, his glass of juice finished. He never ate much which is one of the reasons Kenji expected that caused his pain.

   Yamato sighed softly. "The babies are going to be born small and not as healthy at this rate." He mumbled to himself when he saw the bowl.

   Avery squirmed in his sleep letting out a whimper. Calling his alphas name.

   Yamato looked down at Avery with a small yawn. "What is it love?"

  Avery clung to him relaxing staying asleep until Mitch came home from work. The alpha started dinner making whatever was left to make.

   Yamato nuzzled Avery softly. "I'm such a fool. I probably made him feel worse earlier." He whispered, now feeling the backlash of what he did earlier.

   Mitch came up with a plate of sandwiches setting them on the night stand. "I talked to Kenji." He said grabbing one to eat.

   Yamato glanced up at Mitch with a slight nod. "I see, what about?" He spoke a little quietly as he sat up a little, trying to be nice and calm.

   Mitch sat down rubbing Avery's feet that poked out from the blanket. "Kissing our frail mate." He said. "Its alright for you to be angry."

   Yamato nodded. "Yeah, but me bursting with anger earlier just seemed to tear Avery apart, he was sobbing a lot."

   Mitch nodded. "You did just leave without saying goodbye. And he is fairly sensitive." He stated. "Anyway, I've invited Kenji to stay with us."

   Yamato grunted slightly before nodding. "Of course you did." He said before gently placing Avery on the bed and heading towards the bathroom, his breathing getting a little heavy.

   "It'll be easier on our little robin. He's going to need injections everyday til he gives birth." He called.

   Yamato started a cold shower which he got into while wearing his clothes, to lost in thought to feel how cold it is and the fact that he didn't strip first.
