Avery laid cuddling with Meena asleep. Meena nuzzled Avery lovingly before he fell asleep with him. Yamato got up then gets himself dressed before going to get something to eat.

Kenji stood in the kitchen grinding medicine for Avery together, Mitch smoking.

Yamato made something to eat and he snickered as he watched the two.

"What's so funny?" Mitch asked blowing smoke out. Kenji glancing up.

Yamato shook his head with a slight grin. "It's nothing, just...getting lost in thought." He said before carrying his plate to the table.

Mitch raised an eyebrow "What should I make for dinner?" He asked grabbing the small bowl that Kenji had just finished with.

Yamato shrugged and he tried to think of something that he could help make for dinner. "How about soup? Or stew?"

"Stews too hardy for Ave. His stomach is too sensitive. And I think soup made him sick the other day."

Yamato nodded and he went back to thinking. "How about...a salad? I'm not sure..."

"Can't hide his medications in a salad." Kenji mumbled.

Mitch sighed. "Mac n cheese?" He asked.

Yamato sighed and rubbed his face. "I don't know, he didn't eat much of it last time." He stated while glancing over to Kenji. "You got any ideas?"

Kenji thought for a moment. "Well, he hasn't had much of an appetite so, we could see if he would be comfortable with a seasoned vegetable broth."

Yamato sighed before nodding. "That actually doesn't sound too bad." He said while standing up and going to the sink to grab a glass of water.

Mitch nodded putting out his cigarette sighing getting up to do the prep work.

Yamato finished his drink before heading towards the stairs. "I'll go check on them."

Mitch nodded waving him off. Kenji going back to grinding medications.

Yamato went upstairs and he opened the door quietly before stepping in, hoping not to wake them if they're sleeping.

The two of them didn't stir, Avery's body completely still, his chest not even rising to show he was breathing.

Yamato went over and laid next to Avery to make sure he was still breathing since he couldn't see his chest rising.

Avery took shallow breaths his skin burning up.

Yamato bit his lip and went downstairs. "Kenji, he's burning up again."

"He may be having a sympathy heat." Kenji said getting up going to check on the smaller omega.

"A what?" He asked as he followed the other Alpha curiously and he went and sat beside Meena.

"A sympathy heat, he's close to an omega in heat so even though he's pregnant his body is trying to help him relate to the other omega." He explained looking at Avery.

Yamato nodded while stroking Meena's cheek before wrapping him up in a his blanket. "I see, but this doesn't do anything does it?"

"It wouldn't hurt him if that's what was happening no..." He said. "Will you call for an ambulance?"
