My Blind, Stubborn Mate

Chapter 1

Okay so I'm completely restarting this thing (even though I barely started it in the first place) I hope it doesn't totally suck this time lol) Btw this first chapter is like a prologue as to how she was blinded.

Blythe

Running through the woods I could hear the creature chasing me. Closing in. Closer. Closer the creature got. Looking behind me I see that it's a wolf and it's close to my heels. Pushing even faster I try to run but it seems as if the creature is toying with me, playing. Hearing the pants of the wolf I try to side step but it doesn't work. Catching a root with my foot I stumble but keep going. Closer the wolf gets. Looking behind me I see it has a crazed look in its eyes as it gives me an almost Cheshire Cat grin. Crying out as the wolf latches on to my ankle I fall into a pile of leaves. Looking up I see it looming over me, baring its teeth.

"Please, don't hurt me," I tell the wolf, begging.

Blasting me with its rancid breath, the wolf tilts up its head and howls. Taking the chance I go with my first instinct and kick the wolf in the balls as it looks away from me. Quickly turning the howl into an almost human yelp the wolf looks at me and snaps its jaws. Grasping the beast by the muzzle I try to clamp its mouth closed so it doesn't come for my throat but it begins to claw at my belly. Letting the wolf go so I can protect my stomach, the wolf lunges at my face raking its claws across it. Screaming from the pain I cover my face with my hands.

Hearing a crunching  noise I try to open my eyes, fighting the pain but to no avail. I couldn't see anything. Hearing a faint growling whimper noise I try to curl up in a ball but I can't with the heavy weight of something on my stomach. Hot breath bathed my thigh as I felt something smooth and wet touch it. Jerking away from it only earned a chuckle from what sounded like a man. Screaming out my mouth is soon covered with what felt like a hand.

Hearing more howling in the distance I begin to whimper and beg for death. The being on top me made a noise in the back of its throat and started to move on top of me.

Feeling a burning pinch on my leg I scream as loud as I can as white hot fire radiated from where the large mark was. Hearing a slight chuckle I hear a scratchy voice say, "Now you die" before hearing a popping noise and the sound of paws running off.

Trying to see but not I begin yelling for help but to no avail. Finally I hear the pounding of feet that sound like a pack of dogs before lots of popping noises and the faint voice of a man saying, "Shit he bit her" before everything faded to black.
