She couldn't handle this anymore. Being in this room, surrounded by all these memories, just brought the guilt on harder.
She had to get out of here, out if this house. She didn't know where she was going, but anywhere was better than here.
Phoebe headed out into the pouring rain.
She started the Ford she had gotten for graduation. Phoebe just figured she had gotten because of all the stuff that was going on.
She pulled out of the driveway and turned into the road.
Phoebe had never meant for any of this. Why did he do it? this question had been haunting here since that night. The last thing she remembered saying to Zeenan was "I need some space."
She turned onto the highway. She turns the radio on full blast and pressed down hard on the accelerator, tears streaming down her face. Phoebe could barely see through the rain. She wondered why she ever said any of those things.
As she approached a sharp curve in the highway she realized she was going to fast, but it was too late. She was blinded by an oncoming semi and veered off the road. Her life flashed before her eyes as she went into the ditch. The last thing she remembered was a very large tree.
