A/N:So this one is based on the Avengers Infinity War trailer since it came out today and there was a scene where Bucky was following Steve beside him along with their friends I decided to make a little OneShot about maybe what happened earlier
Bucky started to grab as many guns he can carry then grabbed a shotgun for him to hold. It's only been about 2 hours since he was unfrozen and given his new arm made by the king but, he still hasn't seen Steve yet. Bucky was beginning to worry if something happened to the soldier. Bucky heard an explosion and people screaming which was his cue to go into battle. Bucky had no idea what these THINGS were called but apparently they were Thano's minions (I'm pretty sure that's what they are..have no idea) but he thought that they were easy to take down. He stood by Black Panther and asked the question the question that has been burning in him
"Where's Steve?" The king looked at Bucky "I do not know, he went off like he usually does when he's in superhero mode" Bucky got angry but thankfully he took out his anger on one of the Minions that came at him. He knew what that would mean. 'He's a fucking idiot!' Bucky thought to himself then scanned the battlefield to see if he can see his friend. His eyes landed on Steve who got thrown to the ground, he ran towards the two shooting the minion until it was dead then knelt down next to Steve.
"Steve! Steve! Get up..!" Bucky shook Steve's body but he didn't move. Bucky could feel his body trembled as he rolled Steve on his back and shook him again "Steve! God..dammit..!" Bucky felt tears rolling down his cheeks as he moved Steve's head to his lap and brushed the dirt and blood from his face. "You were suppose to be with me till the end of the line..." Steve coughed a bit which surprised Bucky but he felt relief wash over his body when he looked down and saw Steve's blue ocean eyes
"Buck...." "Steve....!" Bucky kisses Steve all over his face and Steve chuckled "Aww didn't know you missed me that much.." He said sitting up. Bucky rolled his eyes "You know what I didn't miss? That beard" He pointed to Steve's beard "Oh haha.." Bucky helped Steve up "So...Ready to follow Captain America into the jaws of death?" Steve asked which triggered a memory in Bucky's mind. He remembered saying the exact same thing when they were at the bar "That little guy from Brooklyn..." Bucky said "I'm following him.." Steve smiled at Bucky then called the others "Guys! Come on!" They all started to run, they were ready to take on Thanos
