I woke up to a sunny day. My room was flooding in sunlight. I smiled. "Sam! Come down!" My mom shouted. Guess it's time for breakfast. "Coming" I answered. The stairs were cold and I almost fell down because I was so sleepy. I smelled bacon and eggs the moment I came down. After the long night and the hard day before, it would be nice with a tasty breakfast. After a while I was ready for school. I began my long journey. When I was there I realized that I was early, for once. Everyone was standing in groups outside, like in a stereotypical high school. The popular, the sporty, the badass, the nerds, and so on. I decided to go to the ones that looked like the popular group. The group was mostly girls, but there was a few guys there too. I looked at them and said hi. "Hello!" one of the girls said. I was startled by the sudden response. "Can I, eh... join you?" I asked. The girl who said hello nodded and the other ones copied her. She looked like the leader. "You're the new girl, right?" someone asked. I answered yes. "Cool" he responded. "So, your name is Sam? Fits you" I nodded. This is so bizarre. At my old school no one really talked to me. "Do you want to come to my party on Friday? It's gonna be awesome, especially if you're there" the leader said. "That would be fun" I said. I could see that she was relieved and happy. She gave me the address and time of the party. "By the way, you don't know us yet. Let's introduce ourselves. My name is Sara" She pointed at herself. Then she pointed at everyone, one by one. "This is Dana, Rich, Victoria, Natasha, Connor, Hayley, Oscar, and Juliet" Everyone waved at me. "Nice to meet you" I smiled.
