After Glory and Deathbringer's wedding and celebratory dinner with their friends, they flew off to the treehouse. The one that Deathbringer built especially for Glory.
They flew, the two dragons against a sunset backdrop. A few stars were starting to twinkle. One could almost see a faint moon shining overhead.
Glory felt nervous, a rare mood in her life. She tried to keep her scales as pink as she could, but bits of green were attempting to creep in. She quelled them down as fast as she could, and hoped no dragon noticed.
Her thoughts raced a mile a minute, thinking of the long-term possibilities.
"What will my new life be like? Will being married to Deathbringer change me as a Queen? He will be my king; what kind of power should I give him? We will have dragonets, right? I've never talked to him about having dragonets. Will he want to be a father? The kingdom can't be without heirs." She worried, fretting over all the possibilities she could see.
Beside her, Deathbringer was having very similar thoughts. His sharp mind noticed everything.
"I don't what to say. Should I ask now or wait till we get to our honeymoon treehouse? Does she even want to have dragonets? I have no idea."
*a pause*
"I see small scales turning green. What is that supposed to mean? I have some of the Rainwing's color-feelings memorized, but I've never seen green on Glory. Hmmmm."
They continued their flight in awkward silence, one of the many firsts for the new couple.

By the time they landed on the beach, the moon was already bright and high in the sky. Deathbringer already felt more alert as the sky became as black as his scales.
Glory stepped into the hut as Deathbringer opened the door for her, and looked around.
They had both elaborately decorated this treehouse together, when they were still dating.
It had a small living space with a rug as white as snow. The kitchen was about the same size, with a small fire pit area. Upstairs there were two bedrooms, a grand bedroom and a guest bedroom.Glory grinned as she looked around. How this place held memories ( and, there were many more to come).
Deathbringer closed the door, and went to go hug Glory. She fell into his embrace, enjoying and savoring every moment she was with her love.
"Shall we go upstairs, my dear?" He whispered in her ear.
Glory nodded sleepily, and went back to resting on Deathbringer. He sighed dramatically. Time for plan B.
He picked her up and carried her up the stairs. She stood on her own once they got to the top of the stairs.
They stood facing the two bedrooms, and looked at each other.
Deathbringer was so accustomed to going to the guest bedroom he had to say out loud, " We are married now."Glory looked sideways at him.
"Yep. I now grant you the power to sleep in the grand bedroom." She said in a queenly voice.Deathbringer smiled smugly as they padded into the grand bedroom. Suddenly he blurted out,
"Do you want dragonets?"Glory heart internally bursted with joy.
"As a matter of fact," she said, kissing him lightly.
"I do."
