It's been a long hour & 30 mins . My lunch break is finally here . Yaaaas ! 👏

I walked from around the register heading towards the door .

" Going on break boss ! " I yelled

While I was walking to the food court I felt a presence behind me . So I turned around & saw Jeremy 😑 stalk much ?

" where you going ? "

" to get some to eat a nigga hungry " I said rubbing my stomach

" mind if I join ? " he asked

" yea sure .. " not really caring

As we were walking I kinda glanced at him to get a good look at his features . He's a really handsome guy with his nice waves , dimples , hazel eyes , pretty white teeth . & a whole lot taller than me . Gosh he's so cute . I was pulled out of my thoughts by him trying to get my attention .

" uhh Chanelle " he said snapping his fingers

" hu-what ? "

" I was asking what you was getting to eat . But I can tell you like whatcha see " he smirked

" what ? No I wasn't . " I blushed turning the other way

" it's all good , but whatcha getting ma ? "

" raising canes , you ? "

" I was thinking the same thing . " he smiled

While I was placing my order he placed his order with me & the total came out . He took some money out of his pockets & paid for the food , it was a lot of cash . But he didn't have to flash it out like that . I could tell he was a drug dealer or a thug . I'm not really into allat . But I juss ignored it & told 'em thank you . We went to find us somewhere to sit .

5 minutes later

It's been 5 minutes & I know our food is ready . I was about to get up and get it but he beat me to it .

" I got it ma " he said getting up

I nodded and sat back down and played flappy birds . This game is sooo addicting . My high score is 45 . 19 .. 20 .. 21 .. 22 .. 23 .. 24 .. 25 .. Dammit ! Stupid ass bird . I was so close 🌵 I got frustrated and put my phone back on the table & waited on my food .

" here you go " he handed me my food

" Oooowiee thanks "

I started devouring on that food but I eventually slowed down when I noticed him watching .

" What ? " I asked looking up with food all in my mouth

" You juss so cute "

I turned my head the other way when he said that . I didn't want him to see me blush ..

He grabbed my chin and said " whatchu hiding for ? "

" Nothing " I slightly pushed his hand off my face I didn't want him to knock off my make up

I started back eating my food . Out the corner of my eye I will notice him eat then stop and stare , it was kinda weird . It's like he was trying to figure some out . I hope he didn't notice a bruise .

Yea I seen that bruise & imma find out how it got there . I looked up & she seemed like she was deep in thought . I called her name a few times and she still didn't answer . Something's up with her .

That's it . I put my finger in her noise . She jumped outta her thoughts quick giving me a look to kill . Her facial expression was priceless .

" Nigga ! Tf ? Are you crazy ? " She asked with that same look

" I just might be " I smirked she reached over the table and pinched my nipple " ouch damn my bad ma " she let go I started rubbing it . that shit hurt

I looked back over at her she turned her head

" Can we leave ? " She asked

" Yea sure " I said getting up she got up and we walked back to Footlocker

The whole time we was walking she had her head turned and her arms crossed . I don't know what her problem is .

Skipping to the end of work

I'm so glad work is over . Just about the whole time Jeremy was staring at me like he was trying to find out something . It was kinda weird . My life has changed a lot since my momma passed . If she was here I wouldn't have to go through this with my dad well the devil . It's like he take his hurt and anger out on me .

I clocked out and walked outside to my car . I unlocked it and got in and locked the doors . I looked at my phone and it was 11:47 . Dang I didn't know it was that late . I started my car up .. Well tried cause I wouldn't start .. At all .

" Seriously ? " I asked myself I let out a lil scream and gripped the steering wheel

I grabbed my phone and put it in my back pocket . I unlocked the door and got out then locked the doors . I started walking down the street . God it's cold . It only happens when I don't bring a jacket . I kept walking for about 5 minutes that's when I seen a pair p headlights coming up by me . The car stopped . I kinda got scared cause whoever it was juss sat there . I started picking up the pace walking a lil faster . I looked back and seen that the car was moving along with me . That's when I started running . I looked back again the car was still keeping up with me . I started panting and panicking . I didn't know what to do so I ran down an alley .. A dark alley . I know it's stupid but I was scared . I looked back and seen that the car was gone . Thank god . I turned back around and next thing you I tripped and fell . I felt pain rush up through my leg . I lifted my pants leg and seen that my whole knee was scrapped . covered with blood .

" Ahh shit " I moaned out I tried to get up but the pain was unbearable so I juss laid there on the ground .

All of a sudden I felt my self getting lifted up off the ground . Oh my god .. what if it's that man that was following me ? I started screaming and moving around and whoever it was put his hand over my mouth . Walking down the alley . Why this gotta happen to me ?
