What is she doing?
Mycroft's thoughts had become clouded with the ravenettes' most recent activities. There was a spring in each step and a flush of pink in her cheeks. Her eyes had grew brighter and there was an evident attention to detail with the curls in her hair; carrying a more lustrous look and bounce contrasting with the silky feel.
Where is she going?
Looking down at the people who roam Baker Street, Sherlock stood in a poised manner, one fist tucked under his chin while the other played support. As Sherlock hadn't given it much thought at first, then the brotherly motive in him had begun to kick in. Thinking back at the times he had deduced her, he started to pick out the pieces that didn't seemed to fit.
The brothers didn't think that they would be seated together today, facing parallel, only separated by the low coffee table. Mycroft's eyes were beady towards his brother, eye lids tensing together in a non threatening glare, while Sherlock seemed stoic, yet shifted into deep thought. Tension had built between the two like a musky scent that had aged, similar to a scotch.
"This is ridiculous." Mycroft finally broke the tension. "Indeed. I thought you would've noticed the change in Eurus' patterns months ago." Sherlock teased, switching legs to cross. "Very funny. You must take this matter seriously. She is, after all, our sister." "What do you think I am doing?" Sherlock asked defensively. "Not using what you're fully capable of, brother mine." Mycroft said, readjusting himself in John's seat. "Oh, don't look so smug with yourself, Mycroft." Sherlock bounded from his seat and strode towards his stand. He fiddled with the sheets that whispered in the wind before swiping a piece of paper from the back and placing it in front. "Find out what Eurus is up to. Stop ignoring this, Sherlock." Mycroft's exasperated groan filled the air before Sherlock was quick to defend. "I'm not ignoring anything." Mycroft only sighed in response. "I have an idea." Sherlock piped up while grasping his violin. "And what would that be?" Mycroft questioned, wearing a face of disbelief with an upturned smirk. "Timing." Confusion washed over Mycroft's face making Sherlock smirk in triumph.
Now entering reader POV.
The fluff of the pillows had filled my ears, brushing across my cheeks making me giggle. Eurus had straddled me lightly, not resting her whole weight on me, while pinning my hands above my head. Her dark locks framed her playful gaze that traveled along my body as she lightly bit her bottom lip. A sudden rush washed over me and filled my cheeks. I sighed heavily, deciding to break this distracting act.
Before I could push her using my leg, she had closed the space between, leaning in that I could take in the detail of her tight pores, slightly dusting pink. Her cool breath blew over me while I watched her batt her lengthy lashes my way. A tension had built up within the space between, feeling her lips only centimetres away. My gaze had bounced from her alluring blue iris' to her peached pink lips, while she only stared at my lips.
"Stop it." My voice breaking the silence. She grunted exasperatedly, pulling herself back faster than I can blink. "You're no fun." She said.
"I know what you're trying to do, and I don't want to right now." I huffed, sitting up with her still seated on my thighs. She playfully pushed me back, making me pull my lips to the side. "Eurus." "What?" She grunted childishly. "You know what." I answered as she hovered over me like before, but with me restraining her at arms length. "You're the one that's always complaining of not getting to spend much time together." She leant in and brushed her lips on my neck. "Eurus, I've been here for four hours." "So?" And that was the end of the bickering as her lips captured mine. I became putty in her hands as they slid down and held me by the waist while mine were left lazily around her neck. They were soft pets of kisses, breaking away briefly to gaze into each others eyes. It was bliss. A never ending happiness that was pure satisfaction.
"Told you Mycroft. Timing." A male voice broke my train of thought. I felt the sudden pull of warmth rip from me. I was left in a hazed state before I sat up and saw two men staring from the door. One had soft curls that framed his face like Eurus while the other had his jaw hanging and an umbrella that was nearing it's final use. "How did you get in?" The umbrella one questioned angrily. "Oh, do calm yourself Mycroft!" Eurus bit. "They're no one important." She said as she kissed my cheek. "How did you get in?" The words gritted through his teeth again. "The door, Mycroft. Don't ignore anything, Mycroft" The curly one answered. I nodded in agreement as a smug smile had graced his lips.
"Is this what you've been up to?!" Mycroft snapped. "Fiddling around with some stranger!" "I'm not 'fiddling around', brother mine." Eurus said in a matter-of-facty way. "You know the rules!" He bellowed. "Calm yourself." Eurus commanded as he stepped forward only to have the curly one block his path. "Mycroft, look at the picture." He spoke softly, yet still quite audible. "What picture?! There is noth-" "Look at the obvious." He said slowly. "What's different about Eurus?" I felt Mycroft's beady eyes slowly gaze the scene, making me slightly overwhelmed as I found myself avoiding even a slither of his image. Eurus stood from her seated position on the edge of the bed, glaring towards her brothers, mainly Mycroft, while her fists were clenched at her sides, knuckles starting to turn white. Fear filled my insides, not knowing what she had planned, but not being oblivious to her capabilities. Their showdown seemed to have lasted for hours, glaring at each other in the eerie silence. "You see but you do not observe." The curly one said only to have Mycroft scoff in frustration, seemingly backing down. I knew Eurus was sure to be smiling. "How did you even get in without being seen by the cameras?" He asked. "I wasn't aware there were cameras in here that worked." I looked to the corners of the building. "They seemed pretty dead to me." I couldn't help but giggle to myself. "Well, I think I should be going anyway." I stood from the bed, collecting my bag then skipping to Eurus, grasping her hand lightly. She looked over at me as I caressed my thumb over her knuckles. "I'll see you later." I quirked a smile, hoping she'd mirror my action, yet she only gave my hand a squeeze before pecking my cheeks then brushing lightly over my lips.
I could still feel her gaze on me as I strolled towards her brothers. "Don't suppose I could catch a quick flight back with you two?" The curly one grinned down at me and lead the way. Mycroft was about to speak before I interrupted. "Please no interrogation today. You Holmes' are intense."
