JEZEBEL'S PERSPECTIVE
"Judas District disciples have been detected in the area. This is not a drill. Please evacuate to your nearest shelter. I repeat: Judas District disciples have been—" –Announcement
"We're the ones attacking now!" Saul exclaimed, a manic grin plastered across his face. The thrill of the hunt was evident in his every movement.
"They should pray to their stupid god who created them," Cain said, flexing his fists, the anticipation of violence radiating from him.
Following our plan, I marched alongside Cain and Saul as we invaded James District, our footsteps echoing ominously in the empty streets.
"It's time for them to pay for what they did to King Judas! Demon Morphing: Wrath Soul!" I shouted, unleashing my powers. Dark tendrils wrapped around my body, morphing me into a fearsome demon. My nails elongated into deadly claws, large wings unfurled from my back, and a long, sinuous tail emerged.
There's nothing quite like the thrill of taking on a demonic form!
My excitement surged as I absorbed the terrified screams of the inhabitants. Their fear was intoxicating, feeding my insatiable hunger for chaos.
"Look at their reactions; they're absolutely terrified! They look like children who've lost their parents in the plaza," Saul cackled, reveling in their distress.
"Let's hurry and kill these fools," I commanded, my voice a mix of eagerness and authority.
Cain leaped ahead, demolishing anything in his path. His fists smashed into buildings, sending bricks and debris flying. Each punch created shockwaves that shattered windows and collapsed walls, the very ground trembling beneath our feet. The once-proud structures of James District crumbled like sandcastles under the relentless tide of our assault.
The screams of the inhabitants echoed around us as they fled in panic, but there was no escape. Cain's brute strength was unmatched, and he relished in the destruction, laughing as he tore through the kingdom's defenses. "This is too easy!" he taunted, his voice booming as he sent another building tumbling down.
Meanwhile, Saul was busy decapitating anyone who dared to confront us, using only his sharpened claws. He moved with remarkable speed, a whirlwind of death and destruction. His laughter mingled with the cries of the dying, a sinister symphony that underscored our rampage. "Is this all you've got? Pathetic!" he yelled, his eyes glinting with excitement as he effortlessly dismembered the panicked crowd.
"What do we do now, King James? They've come for us!" shouted one of his trembling subordinates, his voice a mix of fear and desperation.
"I—I don't know! We need to hide! Damn it, I never expected them to attack us!" King James stammered, his face pale and filled with terror. I could see the panic in his eyes; he was just a child masquerading as a leader.
"You have nowhere to hide," I shouted, my voice slicing through the chaos.
"Because you're about to die!" Saul cackled, his bloodlust insatiable.
"The Judas District disciples! Kill them!" James shouted, desperately trying to rally his remaining followers.
"This is for you! Hammer Punch!" Cain roared, his fist smashing down with enough force to shatter the ground. The shockwave sent several people flying, their bodies twisting grotesquely as they hit the ground.
Blood splattered everywhere, staining the streets like a broken water main. The air was thick with the metallic scent of death and fear, intoxicating and empowering us.
"Do you remember how you attacked the Judas District? You killed many innocent people. Well, I'm returning the favor. I'll kill you all at once!" I declared, channeling my power again. My form shifted, and I felt the primal energy of my demonic form surge within me.
Saul, however, unleashed his Animal Morphing power, transforming into a fearsome lion. His ears elongated, sharp claws emerged, and a mane framed his face. With the agility of a lion, he pounced into the fray, a whirlwind of ferocity. He tore through the crowd, his claws ripping into flesh, bodies flying apart like rag dolls under his onslaught.
"Are you kidding me? H-how did this happen?! King James, do something!" James' terrified servant screamed, stumbling over the wreckage of their once safe district.
"You can't do anything else! Pray to your god. Maybe he's listening!" Cain shouted, his fist connecting with another unfortunate soul, their head exploding upon impact.
Darkness slowly enveloped our surroundings, and the once vibrant colors of the district faded into shadows of despair.
"I can't see anything!" Cain insisted, frustration coloring his tone.
"The power of King Judas! How is he using Darkness Manipulation Magic?!" Saul wondered, his eyes scanning the chaos around us.
"HAHAHA! You're wondering why I can wield his power? The power of the ancient Judas? My power is Metamorphosis! I can mimic the appearance and abilities of others! This darkness will consume you until you breathe your last! You've chosen the wrong opponents, you lowly creatures!" I taunted, my voice echoing through the destruction.
Metamorphosis? Don't make me laugh. I know your true powers, kid. My comrades only see an illusion.
With renewed fury, I charged at James, my claws poised to strike. I wrapped my hands around his throat, feeling his pulse quicken beneath my grip.
"Urgh. Y-you can't! Urgh... how did you find me?!" he gasped, struggling for breath.
"Are you trying to be funny? I'm a demon. My senses are strong. I can find you even with my eyes closed. No matter where you hide, I will hear your heartbeat."
"W-what do you want? Money? I'll give you everything; just please let me go... I'm too young to die."
"Don't you want that? It will just make your rest come sooner. You won't have to suffer any longer."
"Please. Take all my belongings in this district, just spare my life."
"Thanks, but all I want now is for you to die."
"Who do you think you are?!" His eyes blazed with defiance, a flicker of bravery amidst the chaos.
"Huh? I am the Queen of the Judas District. I am the demon who will kill you!"
Just as I was about to bury my long claws into his neck, his appearance suddenly changed, and I stopped, staring at him.
"A-sister... it's me... I'm Philip. Your only brother." Tears welled up in his eyes as he pleaded, a desperate look that cut through my rage.
"P-Philip? Is that you?"
"Yes, sister. Please stop. Let me go. I'm begging you."
My heart twisted at the sight of him. "My poor brother Philip. Don't worry, I won't torture you anymore."
I smiled at him, but the darkness of my desires overwhelmed my compassion. In a swift motion, I plunged my long claws into his neck. His warm blood gushed from his mouth and throat, spraying across my face.
"Sorry, but you made the wrong choice of face to mimic. Why my brother? Do you have any idea how eager I am to kill him?"
The thrill of killing a God candidate is indescribable, especially with my own hands! The warmth of his blood dripping down my fingers sent waves of euphoria through me. I couldn't explain the joy I felt at that moment as I killed King James, all while looking at my brother's face.
Around us, the destruction of James District reached its climax. Buildings lay in ruins, fires flickered, and the screams of the dying filled the air—a perfect symphony of despair. The ground was soaked in blood, and the remnants of what was once a thriving community lay scattered like broken dreams.
I paused, absorbing the chaos around me. This was just the beginning. I relished the thought of the devastation we would continue to unleash. As I turned back to my companions, I felt a sense of satisfaction wash over me. The Judas District would rise again, and we would make sure that no one would dare to challenge our power again.
I hope they're doing well in the Judas District now.
