Don't tell Bell

Titus dropped the gun and I felt a burning pain in my side. I placed my hand over it and it came back covered in my blood but the back of my hand had specks of red blood. I look up to see Clarke collapse to the floor, I fight the darkness closing in on me and i drop to my knees and crawl towards her. I can't move any further and I collapse on top of her, before everything goes black I hear another gun shot and another body hitting the floor.

I was about to reach Clarke's door when I saw Titus walking in, I decided to stay back and wait for them to finish talking, but when I heard a gunshot I ran in. I was met with Titus holding a gun to his head, and both Lexa and Clarke on the floor surrounded in a pool of black and red blood. "Titus don't" I say putting a hand out for the gun.

"I have killed the person I am sworn to protect" he says and pulls the trigger. He falls to the floor and I quickly step over him and rush to Clarke. I lift Lexa off of her and I check both of their pulses. They're both alive but fading fast.

"Guards!" I call out and I can hear the heavy footsteps coming fast. "Get them to the medbay now!" The two men grab a girl each and take off back down the stairs. I follow after them as quick as I can while fumbling for my radio "Kane get to medbay and bring Aiden with you there's been shots fired." I huff into the radio while taking the stairs down as fast as possible.

I run through the streets that are clear of people, Kane and Aiden come running towards me and I fly past them going straight for the medbay. By the time I get there both of the girls lay on the tables with their clothes torn to expose their wounds. "I need warm water and clean cloths a lot of both." I order and the guards go running again. "Aiden sweety I know this is going to be hard but I need you to start working on Clarke she will make it but you have to stop the bleeding, the bullet went through clean. Kane I need to get the bullet out of Lexa, there isn't an exit wound, you're going to hand me what I need when I need them okay?" I ask and he nods. The guards come back with buckets of water and a stack of cloths. "Keep everyone out of this room." I order and the give me a hard nod before leaving again. "Kane I need a wet cloth, I can't see anything through the blood."

"Doctor she's talking" Aiden shouts as he quickly works to close up Clarke's exit wound. I run over and place my ear next to her mouth.

"Don't tell Bell." She repeats over and over again.

"Okay baby we won't tell him yet." I say running a hand through her hair leaving streaks of red and black. I rush back to Lexa who is starting to turn pale. "She's losing too much blood, we need to work fast. Kane I need the tissue forceps." I look up to him just staring at me confused. "The really long tweezers" I say a bit annoyed and he hands them to me quickly. "I need you to get me a cloth to put the bullet on we need to make sure there aren't any pieces missing." I dig for the bullet completely blind but this is the only way I'd be able to save her. When I hear a metal cling I grab whatever I hit and start pulling it out. I place the bullet in the cloth and it is completely whole so I start working on stitch Lexa up. "I need suture materials" I put the forceps down and kane quickly places the curved needle and thread in my hand. I first check to see if any arteries have been nicked and move to the surface.

By the time I'm finished with Lexa Clarke starts to gain consciousness. "Titus" she mutters and I rush back towards her, "Titus was after me."

"He's taken care of you don't have to worry. I need you to sleep you've lost a good amount of blood." I resist the urge to wipe away the tears from her face knowing I'd just leave a black handprint.

"How's Lexa?" She asks trying to look over to her.

"We won't know until morning, she's lost twice the amount of blood as you. Rest Clarke you need it." I try but Clarke sits up wincing in pain.
