Chapter 68

Eight months later

Nuaimat was now managing her own cosmetics company for the past two months and is already a success,

Today as she dressed up, she was telling Zaid about the new imvestor she was to meet in the company that day,

"You still don't know anything about him or her" he asked still on bed,

"No, just his initials, i mean the Initial he submitted to us, N.Z.Z,   but i heard from the staff that he is mysterious and a tycoon" she said from the mirror

"You sound eager to meet him" he pointed

"Am not eager, i just want to look intimidating, more intimidating because i heard he is intimidating"

"are you kidding you always look intimidating thou not to me"

"I know you find me intimidating, but wait aren't you going to work"

"Other plans with some company" he said,

"Alright then, see later, take care" she said and they kissed,

"I hate to see you go but i love to watch you leave" he said with a grin, she kissed him again and said "lilwayne is kinda an old fashion, but quote nice,  love you" she said patted his cheeks and headed out.

On reaching her office, she stayed up for two more hours before the meeting where the new investor will be making an appearance,

"I told you times without number, am not on any slimming pills Fakirah" argued Nuaimat as she heads out from her office with a friend of hers who happens to work in the company, the Qatari woman Fakirah was the chubby type and a mother of three boys one girl,

"I find it hard to believe you" she said as they walked towards the lifter that will take them  down to the first floor  where  the meeting room is,

"Whatever but why are you so bothering me am not skinny am thick but i guess you noticed since everyday you spend time asking how i keep my tummy flat, how i keep my skin glowing, how i maintain my curvy figure, geez don't you get tired"

"Till i know the secret, or maybe you don't eat that much" she said as they entered and three more men joined them, "morning CEO" they all said,

"Morning, Mr.Alfred, Mr.lawal" she replied,

"For you information, i eat and alot, especially from beginning of this m....onth" she said to Fakirah but was now thinking

"That i hear"

"What's today's date" she asked

"25th"

"Uhumm" Nuaimat nodded just when the lifter opended, and they all headed out,

Nuaimat wore a worried face as they headed to the meeting room but was scrolling her I.Pad and rarely glance at the those greeting her on their way,

On reaching the door to the meeting room

"CEO, i introduce Mr. N.Z.Z" said a man, and on looking up she came face to face with Zaid,

"Who" she asked shocked

"Mr.N.z...... "i heard that"

"Oh my God, so you knew it was your husband all this while, that is romantic, i bet you were shocked" said Fakirah cheerfully,

"Believe me as more shocked than you are Fakirah the difference is am HIS WIFE" she said her eyes on smirking Zaid and deliberately stressing the his wife and only Zaid caught the meaning,
