I didn't before I met you but
Through traumatize and longing eyes
I aspire to please you
No physical touch can win your love
You only crave the power
My weak heart needs your acceptance
And your constant emotional prowess
I don't know how such a small man
Can feed such a large perception
Through tearing eyes and self despise
I still blind myself to the deception
"I know he'll change" I always say as they try and show me the truth but
The parasite eats through my lungs
