I walk into my home... If you can even call it a home. It's an old one story shack that had broken windows from guns shots and isn't very clean. I would clean it of I had time, but I save more important things to do like staying alive. Before my dad died right in front of me, he told me to keep me and my sister safe. I promised him that I would. I will not let my dad down.
As I yell "Lidia I'm home!", I got no answer. I said it again, this time louder. I was panicking. My heart felt like it was gonna burst out of my chest. I run around the house yelling for Lidia, but still not getting a response. Then I remember that yesterday she asked me what was in the basement. I told her not to go down there cause it could be dangerous. I grab my gun and go to the cellar door. It did have a lock on it, but now the lock is on the ground.
I curse quietly to myself and tip toe down into the darkened room. I herd something move had I reached the bottom of the stairway. It sound like a mouse scampering, but much bigger. I herd a muffled cry for help coming from the back of the room. I also herd some snickering. Right then, my fear turned into anger as I found the light switch. I flicked it on and held up my gun. At first I didn't see anything, but then one of the horrid creatures jumped at me with its nasty claws out ready to kill me. I shot it down just in time. Two more came out of the shadows and I shot them too.
No more came out, so I went to find Lidia. She was tied to a chair with duct tape over her mouth and tears falling down her face. I untie her and her runs into my arms saying "I'm sorry! I should've listened to you! I'm so sorry!" I sigh and tell her it's ok, but now we have to find a new home. We can't risk living here anymore after what happened in the basement.
We quickly packed up our few belongings and went out the door. Nobody else was outside anymore... What was happening?! I herd a bomb go off to our left and we starting running out of the neighborhood to get to safety. The Alroids are becoming smarter and stronger. That's not good. Somebody needs a plan to kill them, and fast.
