ANGELA THE PARADOX

I woke up and realized that I'm on my way towards the light. The light I've been dreaming about. I could not move so I struggled but there were shackles and the room was making me claustrophobic. What I had in mind was to just break free from this pit. My breathing quickened as I felt myself nearing the blinding light from afar. I could escape now!
As the light brightened, I felt like I'm losing air already. Was this because of the shock and excitement?
In no time, I had the extraordinary privilege of inhaling fresh air again. I've been set free. The shackles were gone. I cried because of the happiness because I could not feel the fear that almost engulfed me.
"8:36 A.M., Friday, 20th of August, '93." The man dressed in white with a mask announced.
Into the world, I was born.
