An Actor's love

(Jane is my OC and yes again!)

  Jane was heading to the theater along with her best friend Daveed, they were both in the musical Hamilton; Daveed was both Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson. Jane was just an extra aka the 'company'. It was dark out, it was only 5:20 in the morning, the two have to be at the theater early to practice then get ready for the production later on in the day.

  They were both listening to music, switching from phone to phone with the aux cord to pick and choose different songs. Need I say they were both listening and singing along to the Hamilton soundtrack. Eventually, they arrived at the theater only to find out they were both about twenty minutes early; meaning Lin wasn't going to be there to unlock the theater for a while. 

  The two sat in the car where it was warm until Lin showed up, they were both now quiet; it was the awkward type of quiet making Jane feel a little uncomfortable. The past couple weeks it had been like Daveed was keeping something from her, they were both still best friends and all yea, but she was worried he may have started thinking otherwise...What if he heard her talking to Pippa about how she liked him?! Or what if Jasmine told him since she was the one to try and get a couple together???

  She sighed as she was dragged deeper into thought, what if he didn't like her anymore? She thought to herself, during all this she didn't even notice that Daveed was trying to get her attention. She was snapped out of her though when she felt the older male poke her cheek multiple times. Slowly, she turned her head towards him.

  "Yea?" She asked with slight curiosity in her tone. 

  "Finally, what in the world has got you thinking so deeply?" He asked with a light chuckle knowing the only times she zoned out was when she was pondering about something. 

  "Oh uhh, nothing important ." She stammered with her words, not wanting to tell him the truth about what she was really thinking about. 

  "Lies." He retorted with a small smirk. This caused Jane to sigh as she looked away, she fiddled with the hem of her shirt while bitting the inside of her cheek, should she tell him? Or just keep it to herself? Daveed sighed, he had overheard her telling Pippa how she had liked him and kinda wished she would say something to him since he returned the feelings himself. 

  "Daveed I-" She began while turning her head to look back at Daveed, only to be cut off by him pressing his lips against her's; a dark crimson hue spread on her cheeks as she slowly melted into the gentle yet passionate kiss. After a few moments, Daveed pulled away and looked at her, he knew what she was going to say and decided to get straight to the point for her. 

  "Don't worry....I like you too." He smiled, the younger girl smiled herself as she kissed him again. Both were sadly interrupted when a certain brown haired male knocked on the glass of the car window causing the two to pull away and look in his direction.

  "C'mon love birds we gotta play to rehearse!" Lin said loud enough for them to hear with a slight chuckle as he walked away. Daveed looked at Jane and pecked her lips one last time. 

  "Let's not keep him waiting."  He smiled, Jane nodding in agreement as both headed inside, hand in hand.
