[Ryder is just pulling up in the car in front of Skye's house. The car is a total wreck. When they stop, the front bumper comes off.]
Ryder: You're doing the right thing, Chase.
Chase: Yeah, I know. But she'll probably never talk to me again.
Ryder: Well, if she doesn't, maybe she's just not the one for you.
Chase: That's what I'm afraid of.
[Chase goes to the front door and rings the doorbell. Skye's father answers.]
Chase: Uh, hi! Remember me?]
[The door slams.]
Skye: (from inside) Daddy!
[Skye opens the door and comes out.]
Skye: Chase? I saw you on TV! You were great!
Chase: Yeah? I mean, no, no. I mean, uh,,... Skye, I lied to you. I don't even know Paw Patrol.
Skye: What are you talking about? A billion people saw you dance with him!
Chase: Yeah, well, I never met him before. The concert, that is.
Skye: You mean that story about Paw Patrol and your stepdad... Why would you make up something like that?
Chase: I don't know. I guess, I just...wanted you to like me.
Skye: I already liked you, Chase.
[Chase looks at Skye, shocked.]
Skye: From the very first time I heard you laugh. Howl. So, you want to do something tonight?
Chase: Definitely! Oh! Oh no, I can't! I can't.
[Skye looks at Chase distrustfully.]
Skye: What?
Chase: Well, I'm kinda doing something with my stepdad. Honest! How about tomorrow?
Skye: Deal.
[Skye extends her hand for Chase to shake. Chase kisses Skye instead. They both giggle and Chase lets out a full wolf laugh. He covers his mouth, but Skye just smiles. Back at the car, Ryder has managed to get the front bumper back on the car. He grins and points at it. The car explodes. Ryder is sent flying. With a full yell, Ryder lands head first on the roof of Skye porch. Ryder goes halfway through with his head and arms sticking through to the porch area. He chuckles and waves at Chase and Skye. Chase smiles.]
Chase: Skye, I'd like you to meet my Stepdad!
[Ryder takes Skye's hand and kisses it.]
Ryder: Enchante, Madamoiselle!
[They all laugh]
