Chapter 1 - The Backstory

Ashlynn's P.O.V

I wake up in Christian's bed this morning with a pounding headache and see Advil and water on the side and take it trying to remember what happened last night. It's all a big blur but I can see an image of dancing and drinking. Kacey and Stella took me to my 3rd party of the year last night. It was amazing I have learned that I love partying. The thrill and rush it gives you are amazing. But the hangover isn't the best. I admit the first time I drank I almost threw up, but now I am starting to like alcohol. I'm startled from my thoughts when I hear a ding on my phone telling me to get up and tell Kacey happy birthday and take a shower. So I get up and see I'm only wearing one of Christian's shirts and immediately feel violated. No I and Christian have not had sex. I am a virgin. I get up and go take a shower finding some clothes I left here a while back, which are just some sweat pants and a t-shirt. Then I text Kacey.
(Beginning of text between Kacey and Ashlynn)
To: Kacey ~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YOU BIRTHDAY QUEEN. I love you so much and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you in my life, thanks for being an amazing friend!!
From: Kacey ~ Aww thanks!! Love you too! So what time are you coming over?
To: Kacey ~ About 11:00 ish
From: Kacey ~ Ok see you then!!
(End of text between Kacey and Ashlynn)
Then. My. Stomach. Grumbles. Stomach?? So I go downstairs and see Christian eating cereal. "Hey baby you're up," he says smiling at me. "Yeah I missed you," I say and kiss him. Then I grab a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and make me a bowl of cereal so my stomach will stop yelling at me. I look at the time and it says 10:30. I have to drive to Kacey's. "Hey, babe I got to go get Kacey ready for the party and myself ready, okay?" I say. "Okay see you at the party baby," he says kissing me. Then I run upstairs and grab my dress, shoes, and makeup, then I leave to Kason's house.

Kacey's P.O.V

I wake up this morning I don't have a bad headache but it's still a headache. I look over at the nightstand and see a note with Advil and water I take the Advil and read the note. It says...

"I have gone to the grocery store and to run some errands happy birthday"

I smile to myself and check my phone to see that Stella and Ash have texted me telling me happy birthday. I smile again, seeing that my mom has already posted on Facebook about my birthday along with a lot of my other family members.

(Beginning of text between Stella and Kacey)
From: Stella ~ Happy Birthday Girl!! I love having you as a friend. And can't wait to celebrate your sweet sixteen with you!!
To: Stella~ Thank you so much for the birthday wishes can't wait to see you at the party. So what time are you coming?
From: Stella~ Around 11:00
To: Stella~ Ok see you then!
(End of text between Stella and Kacey)

I see that my phone is at 20%, and immediately plug it in. Then I go downstairs to eat some cereal, but I see Kason in the kitchen making me pancake and eggs. I tried to sneak up on him, but that didn't work out... "Hey your awake," he says cheerfully "Yes I am awake and I see that you have been awake for a while," I say in awe. "Just for you," he says with a goofy smile. Then we kiss for a good minute. And he hands me my plate and we go eat at the table and watch T.V. until I look at our clock and it says 10:30, then I go upstairs and take a shower. Quickly grabbing whatever clothes of mine I find and just throwing them in the bathroom.

Stella's P.O.V

I woke up with a pounding headache. Then memories filled my mind of last night. All I can do is chuckle. I look at the side table and see chocolate milk and Advil. He knows me so well. Then I text Kacey Happy Birthday. After that, I go downstairs and see Angel eating cereal. "Goodmorning babe," I say. "Goodmorning," he says then pulls me to him and kisses me. I smile against the kiss. Then after I eventually pull away I make cereal and coffee and have that for breakfast. I start to walk upstairs seeing the time is 10:00 to go take a shower when I hear, "Where are you going?" Angel asks me. "To go take a shower for Kacey's birthday," I say. "But I don't want you to be away from me," he says. "Sorry," I say sarcastically and run upstairs, and lock the door. Then I take a shower. I get out and see what it says 10:47 on my phone, dang-it Angel you distracted me! "Oh my gosh I got to go," I say grabbing makeup, shoes, and my dress. Then I jump in the car to see Angel running outside to the car door and saying, "I love you baby see you later," and kissing me. "I love you too," I say. Then he goes back inside and I head over to Kason's house.

Ashlynn's P.O.V

So I get there at 10:53, and surprisingly I'm the first one there. Besides Kacey obviously. Then I hear "ASHLYNN!" and see Kacey running towards me. "Hi Kacey, "I say as I hug her, "Happy Birthday!" "Thank you, now where do we start with all of this?" She asks me. "Umm well we wait for Stella to get here, and then we start doing makeup," I say ."She needs to hurry up," Kacey says jokingly. And then if on cue we hear a "Ding-Dong." So, I turn around and open the door to see Stella holding a bunch of stuff. And I grab it from her and set it on the table. Then I and Kacey hug her and run up to Kacey's room with all of the stuff that we brought.

Kacey's P.O.V

I start walking down the stairs, and see everyone turn and look at me. Especially this guy from across the room, but he isn't Kason. I try looking away, but our eyes are locked. He starts walking towards me and says, "Hey Kacey right?" "Yeah, What's your name?" I ask him. "Trey," he says. "H-hi T-trey," I stutter. Dang-it Kacey. He starts chuckling and says, "See you around, beautiful." And leaves me there blushing, freaking out, confused, and still BLUSHING. (A/N: I know I said blushing twice.) Then I walk over to Kason, and he wraps his arm around me. I just keep smiling.

*3 hours later*

It's was partying for a good 3 hours. And I did not have ANY alcohol there. I didn't want people throwing up or passing out at my party. A lot of people are gone only me, Ashlynn, Stella, Stacey, Ember, Josh, Alex, Trent, Angel, Kason, Christian, and Trey are here. I don't know why he stayed, but oh well. Now we are all cleaning up the trash, food, and cups everywhere. Which only takes us a few minutes. Then I go to sit down and I hear "Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Kacey, Happy birthday to you!" Everyone sang to me and brought out a cake

Then I blew out the candles and made my wish. My wish was to always be this happy.

After we ate cake all of the girls went upstairs and changed into comfortable clothes, after taking a few Instagram pictures of course. And we took off our makeup. I was the last to go downstairs. But when I went down everyone was outside. So I went to go outside when I heard someone's voice, "Hey beautiful," I turn and see Trey. "Oh hey Trey," I say trying to sound casual. "Happy birthday, see you at school," he says with a smile. "Thank you, see you at school," I say turning to walk away, but I get to turn around, and he hugs me. "Bye," he says while waving. And he disappears behind the front door. Then I go outside. What a weird guy that Trey...
