I woke up in the hospital. I woke up to the sound of the doctors talking. I woke up to my head aching. I woke up to my mom crying. "M...m...mo...mo...mom?" I tried to say. My mom ran over to me and hugged me. "Leah! What happened?!" She looked at me with pleading type eyes.
"It w...as M...Maa..."
"Come on Leah answer me!" I wanted to, but a sudden burst of aches came toward me and I fell unconscious. My parents say I didn't wake up for the rest of the day. When I did, the doctors said all I have to do is rest. But how could I rest if my head was about to kill me? I didn't even know what happened to me. All I remeber is Katie yelling, and... And Mark.
My mom walked up to me, asking if I felt better. But another reason was so that Mark could ask if I was feeling better. Mark approached me by my bedside, and all I could do was look. My mom was standing right there, but got called out to meet the doctor. As soon as she left, Mark smiled. A hideous grin. "Hah. You think you can get to the bottom of this? How? Now you're lying on the bed in the hospital. Oh I wonder how? Hahahaha. You're just a piece of trash that deserves to be gone." He started to grab all the cords and needles connecting to me. They were keeping me awake. Awake so I can eat. And see my family. Just as he was about to rip them off, my mom entered the room. He quickly stuffed in his hands into his pocket.
" Leah! I got you some food. I can't feed you your favorite, but I know you like soup! Here have some." She said as she put the tray near me. She went for the spoon and Mark grinned and watched the whole process. "Now Leah, you promise me you will take your food 3 times a day ok?" Asked my mom.
I nodded my head and looked at Mark. He was grinning bigger than ever.
