i tried to reach out to you,
never really understanding -
trying to understand,
why you were the only answer to my pleas.
i knew deep down in my broken heart, that you were never intrigued by me.
but in the end, i still stuck with you.
as if a string had tied itself to you and me.
as if a spell was cast to keep us together.
as if the world was screaming "stay together!"
but for some reason, i am the only one who can hear
and feel those sayings.
this love was one sided, and i kept walking back into it.
