Key word.
Want.
We all want things. Whither it being a bike or a dog. Especially money. Everyone wants money. But we want in different ways.. and how Frank wants me is a mystery. I'm not going to tell Frank I know what he wrote, but he obviously doesn't care if his mother knows.
"You could wrap me up, stuff me in a huge box. Bam! Present." I suggest. Mrs. Oliver laughs surprisingly.
"You're taking this so well." She sounds surprised. Well Mrs. Oliver. I'm gay. I'm used to being wanted by men, and hell that's true. I decided to go to a gay bar once in my life and was hit on by at least eleven guys. I'm pretty good at rejecting though. "I'm so glad your not homophobic." Reason. I'm gay.
"Why put Frank down stairs just because he's gay?" I ask in a polite way.
"Oh, well he tried to kiss Brendon once when he was thirteen and Brendon was fifteen. Brendon was very calm about it when he told me. Frank was embarrassed and I just didn't want him to do something like that again. They all are brothers here. You know?" I nod, still kind of disagreeing but Frank doesn't seem to mind so I don't. "So, what do we do for his birthday?"
"How about me and Frank spend the day together. Then you and I could take everyone trick or treating. It will be fun." I suggest. Mrs. Oliver seems to think for a moment, but then grins.
"Sounds great. Let's do it."
The planning for Frank's birthday was fairly easy. Mrs. Oliver would pick up a Halloween themed cake with decorations. We would decorate the house in a really creepy way. We'd all eat cake and hang at the house for a bit then, I'd take Frank to a haunted house. Just me and him. After that, Frank and I would visit the cemetery like he likes to do and talk there. After that, pumpkin patch because yes. Then, Mrs. Oliver and I take the guys trick or treating. I'm mostly excited for costume shopping with everyone. That will be fun.

"Gerard!" My eyes shoot open and I awake from my slumber.
"What?" I mumble. I hear my door open and the pitter patter of feet on the floor, walking towards my bed. I turn my head to see Frank smiling at me. I blink a few times, then decide to sit up. "Hi." I say, a small yawn coming shortly after.
"Gerd." Frank simply says. "I believe I owe you my whole life story because of the days we didn't talk. Me just giving you three facts would be cruel." I chuckle at the fact Frank woke me up for this.
"Alright, alright, but I think I owe you mine too." And that's just what happened.
Frank told me about his father dying when Frank was only six. He said his mom re-married a man by the name of Greg Harrison. He told me how he'd beat him and his mom. He was on the edge of crying and I was too. He told me at the age of ten, his mother died of cancer. He was left with his cruel step father. Finally, he decided to tell a teacher at school about Greg beating him up. He's in prison. None of Frank's family would take him simply because he's gay. He found out he was gay at the age of nine, and that just made his step father beat him more, and his family hate him. Finally, they found Mrs. Oliver. She adopted him when he was eleven. Frank met Ray and Brendon who were the only ones there at the time. They excepted him for him. He told me about how he tried to kiss Brendon and Brendon swore not to tell Mrs. Oliver but he did anyways. He told me Brendon made him feel pretty, and he couldn't resist. That honestly made me chuckle a bit.
I told Frank about how I was bullied in high school for being gay by two kids by the name of Austin Bridge and Victor Caps. They would beat me a lot and Mikey was always the one to stop the fights. I told him about Bert McCracken, my first boy friend when I was sixteen. I told him how he was my first kiss and the guy I lost my virginity to. I haven't had sex sense but I didn't tell him that. I told him how Bert cheated on me and I found out on my seventeenth birthday. Mikey comforted me a lot and got me out of my depressed stage of alcohol and pills. I told him about how I moved out when I was eighteen and how grandma Elena would send me money to help me get by. I told him about my old job at the art shop. Frank seemed interested, but his face lite up the most when I mentioned the fact that I am gay.
