A few weeks later~
Mark came home drunk today and Nayoung was not having it.
"Mark stay still" Nayoung said as she was trying to change his vommit covered shirt.
"Ugh I don't wanna change" Mark said and lied down on the bed.
"MARK LEE THE SHEETS WILL BE DIRTY AND STINKY COME ON COOPERATE WITH ME" Nayoung snapped and Mark just rolled his eyes.
He got up and removed his shirt, snatched the clean shirt out of Nayoung's hand and put it in him instead.
"There! happy?" Mark said and flopped down on the bed kicking off his shoes.
"Very" Nayoung replied and picked up his dirty shirt and put it in the laundry basket.
Mark decided to go to the bar as he was feeling a bit stressed lately. Besides missing Hyerin and wanting her so bad they're also planning the wedding which the couple didn't like.
Meanwhile, Nayoung was home alone doing chores and pampering herself with a nice bubbly bath and a face mask... Until she had to stop as Mark decided to call her and go pick him up at the bar.
Nayoung sat down on the bed beside him and lied down on the other side as well. She used her phone for awhile.
"Nayoung" Mark mumbled.
She replied with a hum.
"I know you're kinda annoyed by how I was acting. I just really miss Hyerin and I should've thanked you cuz you're always comfort me whenever I need it" Mark said.
"What?" Nayoung teased. His voice was a bit soft but she heard him loud and clear.
"Ughhhh thank you okay?!" Mark said a bit louder for her to hear.
"You're welcome Marky" she said and turned to the other side. Her back facing Mark.
They both fell asleep after a few.
Next day~
"Why are you so busy fixing yourself? You look fine!" Mark said as Nayoung continued putting on make up.
"Jungwoo asked me out" Nayoung replied simply.
"Who the heck is Jungwoo? And doesn't he know you're getting married?" Mark exclaimed.
"Mark Lee are you jealous?" Nayoung smirked and Mark groaned in annoyance.
"No! It's just that what if our parents find out. We'll be doomed for sure. Ypu can go ahead and do that when we're actually married" he replied and Nayoung gave him a smile.
"Jungwoo is the guy I like.. He doesn't know about the wedding. He asked me out and it means a lot to me. Yeah we're friends but like why would me ask me out on a date if he doesn't feel the same way? Besides, if our parents to find out so let it be. They'll get the idea that I don't wanna marry you and just prolly convince them to stop this nonsense"
"Fine then. Be careful Nayoung and don't get your hopes too high. He either likes you or only asked you out for something different" he warned her and Nayoung just nodded.
"Okay" she replied and got her bag. She checked her outfit once again and she smiled in satisfaction.
She went out of their house and drove towards the restaurant where she's gonna meet Jungwoo.
Author's note:
Lol Jungwoo in the house y'all! I was thinking of Lucas at first but I miss Jungwoo and decided to put him in the story instead.
I hope Jungwoo is doing well emotionally and physically.
