23- ᴘᴀᴅs

"You shouldn't be preparing this for me. In fact, I should be the one doing this now" Mark said as he ate his breakfast that Nayoung cooked.

"And why is that?" she asked while eating her's.

"We're having a baby now! I don't want you to overwork yourself" he exclaimed and the other scoffed.

"And leave you to cook? No thanks Mark I rather exhaust myself than eat burnt eggs" she teased and Mark pouted.

"I can learn" he argued and the both of them laughed.

"Anyways I'm gonna go buy something later and maybe buy more groceries as well" Mark said and finished his delicous meal.

"Great I'm coming too-" he cuts her off.

Nayoung stood up to speak again but Mark stood up as well and cupped her face.

"Look, I just want you and the baby to be healthy. I wanna be a good father okay? Let me do what I have to do" Mark said and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"Fine. Don't take too long" she said and gave hin a hug.

Mark then went down to kiss her belly.

"Daddy's gonna be back okay?" Mark said and stood up again.

He washed all the plates and left their house to buy whatever he has to buy.

As for Nayoung, she just watched TV while snacking on some broccoli with cheese. She's been craving for that for so long.

Meanwhile, Mark was in the grocery store buying his stuff and he came across the pads and tampons aisle. He then remembered that Nayoung used to buy those things every month so he decided to get some. He knows Nayoung uses pads and she dislikes tampons very much.

After buying everything he needed he went to the cashier and paid for it.

"You're a good boyfriend. I assume these pads are for your girlfriend?" she suddenly said and Mark smiled.

"Husband" he corrected her and the cashier looked at him with a smile.

"Oh that's great you guys are married. Thank you sir come again" she said and Mark picked up the bags and brought it outside to his car.

"Buying groceries I see" a guy from behind him suddenly spoke and he turned around.

He saw his cousin Taeyong.

"Eyyy hyung" he said and hugged the older male.

"You're still a baby even though you're already married" Taeyong said and Mark just shrugged.

"How are you and Nayoung?" Taeyong asked.

"Oh we're great hyung, we're gonna have a baby now!" he said excitedly and the other patted the younger's shoulder.

"That's great Mark. Uhm what did you buy?" Taeyong asked again.

"You know. Food, supplies and materials for the garage and pads for Nayoung" Mark replied and the other laughed.

"You innocent child. She's pregnant. She isn't gonna have her period anytime soon. You're such a good husband, you got rid of her period for 9 months! Periods can hurt too you know. My sister experiences that every month and damn she gets cranky" Taeyong said and Mark rubbed his nape out of embarrassment.

"Anyways bro I gotta go now. Take care!" Taeyong said and gave his lil cousin a hug.

Yes Mark is still a baby in Taeyong's eyes. Heck he still thinks that Mark is still undergoing puberty.

With that, the boy went home to his loving wife.

"What am I gonna with these pads then? I can't return it the store doesn't allow refunds" Mark said and sighed.

He drove away and decided to just hide it somewhere in his car. He doesn't wanna let Nayoung know or epse she'll tease the heck out of him.
