In we go giggling together, at-least shes laughing at my awkwardness. I think? God I really need to get better at this thing. Why am I over-complicating it all, nothing will ever happen.

"So, Screw-loose," she turns to face me and walks backwards down the long corridor. "What brings you out on such a night like this?"

"Starburn have been my favourite band ever since I was a kid. My dad showed me then and I never lost my love for them. " I never will. One thing I will treasure is memories of him and these guys are a big memory. I quickly check my phone to see if I've been spammed with messages. Nope. Just a system update. Phew.

"Oh yeah, you don't seem like a StarBurn fan." She eagerly replies. Who are you to talk? Little Miss wearing all black. I stand there and mess with my clothes and hair.

"What. Because I wear these clothes, the lip piercing and the hair doesn't mean I can't be an Indie-accoustic fan? Expect me to be listening to something more metal?"

"Yea." She turns and slows down to be back at my side. "We all have our weak spots." Then she jabs me in the arm. Ouch. This girl has a punch. A weak spot is something that your vulnerable too. I'm not giving off that I'm vulnerable am I. Oh god, I'm starting panic. Fuck...

We make our way down past open and closed doors and into small room. It has a little bar filled with drinks and snacks - well done for not bringing the wallet - and a few sofas. Chill room? "Wait here, I'll grab us something." I feel like a spoilt kid in a candy shop, and before I can say otherwise she's off. I let out a little moan as my arm is still aching and relax in the sofa. First buying me a ticket and now food? Why is she being so nice to me, I'm just a weirdo sat on the stairs.

In a few minutes she's back and taunting me to stand up. She passed me a few packets of roast chicken crisps and a can of lemonade. "Incase we separate, hold out your phone."

"Ermm. Okay" I take it out, turn it on and pass it to her. She taps her phone against mine and that's it, she's in my contacts. Juliana Scholar, or as she would like to be called, Jewel Scholar. I still don't trust this whole contactless thing. Seems like an easy way for people to just touch a randomness phone and steal their identity. Fuck, is she trying to steal my identity. Stop it! Calm down you flaming idiot!

I put my phone back in my pocket and we make our way down, the sounds of drumsticks tapping and guitars being tuned get louder and louder and we make it into the stadium. It's massive! Like holy jeebus. There's at least a thousand people waiting and talking to each other, eating there food and showing off there merchandise, little stalls filled with t-shirts, key rings and what not. The stage isn't as big as thought it would be for a room which is this size.

"Come on screw, party is about to begin!" Jewel raises her voice over the other people who are making a ruckus. I can't believe I'm actually here. Dad would love it. He never got the chance to take me to see Starburn before he. "Earth to screw?" She pokes me in the shoulder.

"Huh?" I shake my head as I return to reality. She just smiles at me, does a little hop and takes me by the hand and rushes me down through different people all jigging and excitedly waiting for Starburn to come out. Holy shit, she's holding my hand. I never felt this before in my life. She has such soft skin, expected for such a jewel of a person. I check my phone again as we run. Nothing as of yet, good.

"Almost time, excited hippy? Or would it be emo?" She tilts her head examining me from head to toe. I mean from the black leather jacket, the skull shirt, spike bracelets, leather boots and ripped jeans, the piercing and the hair. I don't think that gives off hipster. Ew, I could never be a hipster. Too mainstream. To basic.

"Leave that decision up to you, Little Miss Black." She smiles at me and takes the cap of her lemonade, cracking the top of the lemonade can open, I do the same. "Cheers?" I hold out my can. She clangs it against mine in silence, but a little cheeky grin on her face. In half an hour I've gone from loneliest person in the world to the happiest guy in this entire stadium. I feel so lucky.

With a sudden clash and bang, Starburn walk out and get in place. The stadium fills with cheers and roars from the crowd "1.. 2.. 3.. 4!" They start playing one of my favourite songs - crying for the dead. Everyone starts jumping around and singing along as the drummers play and the guitars strum. I look around noticing that Jewel has literally disappeared within the crowd. Oh god. I take out my phone and ring her but it goes straight to answer phone. I quickly duck and dive past people who are raving. One of the people holding a glass wave there hand at the wrong time and - ....
