Four different teenagers all sat in their different rooms in their different houses.
One of them, a tall lanky boy with fluffy black hair and thick glasses pulled his rolling desk chair up to his computer to take a seat.
The blue walls of his room reflected some of the bitter winter sunlight flowing from his open window of his second story bedroom.
This boy's name was Xavier Ellington.
He typed the plastic keys rapidly on the keyboard, sending a message to his three friends.

Xavier stood up and pushed his glasses a bit as he slipped his gray shoes on.
As he was heading to the door his father turned and asked simply, "Where are you going, young man?"
He let go of the doorknob and faced his father, who was currently sitting on the couch, straightening his tie.
"Oh, I'm going to a friend's house, is that fine?" he smiled innocently.
His father nodded and Xavier stepped outside and shut the door, admiring the cool breeze that swept through the small neighborhood.
He ran down the block, listening to the happy sounds of kids playing all around him as he made his way towards North Rose Lane and turned, skipping gaily across the driveway of the small dusty yellow house that his friend Nicole Rowling lived in.
He pushed the doorbell, hearing the quiet chime from outside the house.
A tall, pale girl with long platinum blonde hair opened the door, her crooked teeth smiling and her blue eyes glinting in the sunlight.
"Come on in, Xavier. Just leave your coat on the rack." she said as she led her friend inside.
Xavier hung his blue hoodie on the coat rack and brushed off his Ghost Rider shirt before making his way to the living room.
Xavier smiled at one of his other friend who was there with them, Harvard Dolsen, his flashy red hair immediately catching his eye. Harvard had his earbuds in his ears as he listened to rock music on his phone, Xavier could hear it through the earbuds.
Finally a dark-skinned girl, Jane Bennet, stepped in and put her gray coat on the rack, her short dark hair swaying as she bounded excitedly into the living room.
Harvard turned his music off and took the earbuds out. "Hey, what're we supposed to do?" he asked dryly, his eyes blinking through the dark sunglasses he wore almost everywhere.
Jane fiddled with her hair whilst pondering on the idea.
Nicole pulled out a purple and black laptop, it didn't belong to her, hers was pink. "Well," she began as she opened the laptop. "This is my dad's computer, I was thinking about searching all his secret files he's been working on lately." she typed in the password with a devious grin. 'How strange,' Xavier thought, 'Nicole is normally very responsible and would never do anything like this. Maybe she's just trying to be funny.'
Harvard stood up and looked over Nicole's shoulder, Jane kept her self seated on the couch. "Nicole, what if he finds out?" she began. "Heaven knows what he has hidden in those files." Harvard looked at the shorter brunette. "What's wrong Janey? Scared?" he smirked. Jane didn't look too happy about that.
Xavier went behind Nicole and watched as she went skimming through files, stopping at one labeled 'SKI//39-PROJECT 78°'.
"What on earth is this?" she asked quietly as she opened the file.
Jane approached where she could see what was happening.
Nicole moved the cursor over a flashing button that said 'Activate Surface <Earth>'.
"Should I click it?" she asked, looking up at her friends.
Harvard and Xavier nodded while Jane looked nervous, she nodded hesitantly.
As soon as she clicked the button a sudden tremor shook the house for about three seconds. A loud wiring noise came from below.
"That came from the basement." Harvard whispered.
Xavier looked out the window, snow began falling outside.
Nicole quickly ran towards the basement door. "C'mon let's check it out!" she said, gesturing for them to follow.
As soon as they made it down the steps Jane stepped back a bit.
"I don't like the look of that weird green glow." she said fearfully.
Xavier turned and gasped. A lime green rectangular door frame was glowing brightly.
A number '1' was above it on a digital screen.
"Oh gods, we have to go back now!" Nicole shouted. Harvard chuckled. "It's just a door."
The ginger pushed his hand through the glowing slime-like material in the frame, he jolted and was pulled in. The '1' changed to a '2'.
"Oh my gods!" Nicole screamed and ran through the portal.
Xavier watched as the number went up again.
"What does that number mean? People who've gone through this?!" he shouted in a confused jumble.
Jane gasped.
The portal began to crack.
"Come on!" Xavier shouted as he pulled Jane into the bright green door frame.
On the other side, he landed roughly on some grass.
As Xavier turned around he witnessed the portal crumbling apart to the bright blue grass that surrounded him.
He sat up, staring up at the green sky, a pink sun shone brightly down on them.
Jane stood up and straightened her hair and clothes, brushing away the pale blue blades of grass.
Harvard was farthest away, staring at a forest of tall pink trees with blue leaves, the mountains of black and white checkered stone where visible in the background.
"Where are we?" Nicole asked as she turned around to view the surroundings.
Harvard walked back to them, his red hair blowing in the strong wind. "On another planet..." he said dryly.
The four kids turned around in shock as a figure approached them, looking very irritated.
