Maisie couldn't stop insisting that you actually liked Ivan. She kept going on about a 'spark' and a 'connection'. This happened for about two days, till Ivan asked you out at school. "Y/N" He said and you turned around. Maisie grinned at you. "Yeah? Hi?" You asked. "I umm.. I never ask girls this but, would you like to go out with me?" You chuckled. "Well I never say yes to being someone's girlfriend but, yes. I would like to go out you." Both of you smiled. He left, still smiling and looking at you. "You see? Connection." Maisie said, winked and left.  The next day, which was Wednesday, you and Ivan went for a coffee. You felt a bit awkward. Probably because you never went on a date before. Ivan saw that you were acting weird. He put his hand on yours and you stared at him, confused. "Are you okay?" He asked, genuinely worried. "Well... I've never been on a date before. I normally do one night stands and that's it." You said. "Dates are nice, Y/N. Especially when you're with someone so beautiful" You smiled at his compliment but then started to overthink. "You're the most popular guy in school and I'm the most popular girl. So, are you going to break my heart?" You asked. "No, of course not. I feel something with you. You're different to the other girls I've been with." "And you're different to the other guys I've had sex with" You smiled. Ivan leaned in and kissed you. The next day, at school, you need advice. You saw Maisie. "Hey Maisie!" You called out and she waited for you to catch up. "How was your first date yesterday?" "Good, actually great. He's different" "I told you" She smirked. "Shut up" You laughed. "So do you need something?" "Yeah umm... I really like Ivan and I don't want to mess this relationship up but I feel weird being in a serious relationship. It's not like me." "So what?" She asked. "So should I break up with him?" She stops walking. "Hold up honey. No. You like Ivan, he likes you. Maybe even love. Even if you don't love him. One day, a beautiful girl like you has to get someone who they really like. You deserve it, Y/N" You smiled at her advice. "Thanks, Mais. You know I never thought you were a 'love' person." "Love is amazing, you'll experience it one day, I promise." You kept your best friends' words in your mind. You thought about the love and connection she though you and Ivan had for over 3 months. You and Ivan saw eachother almost everyday and you couldn't help but think that he was cheat, but he never did and neither did you. You were hanging out at Ivan's house. You were just cuddling and talking whilst he kissed your forehead a couple of times. "Y/N, can I tell you something?" "Anything babe" "I think I've fallen in love with you" You looked up at him, confused. "What?" You asked, surprised. "I love you, Y/N Y/L/N." "I-I think I love you too" "Really?" He asked. "Yes" Both of you smiled and kissed. It turned into a make out session, until you accidentally dropped his lamp. Both of you laughed and your 'connection' turned into a lifetime thing.
