Bullied- Emilio {3}

Emilio and you got to the school. You saw the banner with PROM 2018 written on it. "You ready for your first prom?" He asked. "I am. I'm ready" You smiled at him. "Let's go" Once again, you held hands and entered the school. You heard the music playing. Currently Bodak Yellow was playing. You looked around you and grinned widely. "You look excited" "Can you blame me?!" there were balloons, a band, confetti and so many people already! However Emilio spotted Jacob as you were still looking around and you went to the food section. Emilio walked quickly towards you. "Y/N let's stay together, okay?" He asked. "Um, yeah sure"  You poured yourself some punch. "You want punch?" You asked as Emilio looked around for Jacob. "Yeah, okay" "Emi, what's wrong? This is supposed to be a good night for me" You said and turned around to pour him some. "I'm sorry. It's just-" He started. "What?" "I like you, Y/N. I'm not kidding" "I like you too, you know that" "No I mean, I like like you" "I know what you mean" Both of you made eye contact before a slow song started playing. They had to play Perfect by Ed Sheeran. You've always loved that song. Emilio cleared his throat and you looked away. "Wanna dance?" He asked and you nodded. He put his hands on your waist and you put your arms around his neck. For a while, you both couldn't stop looking into eachother's eyes. Then you moved slightly closer and put your head on his shoulder as he just wrapped his arms around your back. Emilio also put his head on your shoulder. You were so content and couldn't think about anything else. Only until someone pulled you to the back of the venue then outside to the side of the building. It was Jacob and one of his friends Liam. Jacob pushed you against the wall and you felt your body already aching. Liam was about to punch you but you manged to duck and punched his nose. "Feisty are we?" Liam asked. "I'll take care of her, Liam" He pushed you to the floor and punched you. You were starting to see blurry. He punches you again and you noew have a few bruises. He lifts you up by your dress and once again pins you to the wall. "It's been a while, hasn't it?" He asks, sarcastically. "JACOB!!" A voice yells. He puts you down and you see Emilio. "Martinez! What?! You gonna stand up for this girl?!" He asks Emilio while you're trying to regain consciousness. "Actually, I am" He punches Jacob. "Emi, just leave it" You manage to say. He grabs Jacob and puts him to the ground and he punches him 3 times until Jacob manages to get on top of him. He lifts Emilio's head up and smashes it against the ground. "Emilio!" You scream before letting your tears fall out. He punches Emilio twice until finally, Liam stops him. "That's enough, Jacob!" They move away, Jacob looking at you both with a death stare. You run away, crying and go to a bridge close by. You look at the water, with your hands on the railing, feeling guilty. "Y/N?" Emilio says, walking closer. "Go away" You say. "I thought you'd be here" "Are you deaf? I said go away." "I'm not going anywhere, Y/N, you know that" Both of you pause and say nothing. "I shouldn't have become your friend. I shouldn't have brought you into my mess of a life" You finally say. "I wouldn't trade being your friend for anything" You look at eachother and you smile at him. He puts his hand over yours and he intertwines his hand with yours. "I really need to tell you something, Y/N" He says. "Okay, tell me" "I think I'm better at doing" Suddenly, he connected his lips with yours and you did the same. After a few seconds, he let go. "I think I got your message" You say. You kiss him again, and the kiss turns into a make out, then you both end up on the floor. "You okay with this?" He asks. "I'm very okay with this" You both chuckle and make out again. Even though the fight with Jacob happened, it was still an incredible night.
