A few weeks passed since you and Emilio met properly and became friends. You were confused as to why Jacob or his squad weren't picking on you, but of course, you didn't mind. You were starting to like your life again. This was just till prom came. You were sitting in your room doing your essay, just a week before prom, when suddenly, Emilio called you. "Hey Martinez!" You said. "Y/L/N" He said. "How are you doing?" "Good. So I wanted to ask you something" "Yeah of course" You smiled to yourself. "So um, I was gonna see if you wanted to go to prom with me?" You stayed silent. You've never been to prom because you were scared to go without a date. "Y/N?" He asked. "Sorry, um. Emilio, I've never been to prom. I've never had a date." You replied. "Well I'm honored to be your first" Both of you smiled to yourselves. "I'll go with you" "That's great! Awesome! So then we'll plan a time, yeah?" "Yep. See you Emi" You cut and lied down on your bed as you smiled and let out a breath. You were so happy. On the day, Emilio came up to you when you were at your locker and pinned you to it. "You excited for tonight?" He asked. "Hell yeah I am!" "I'll pick you up at 8" He asked and left. You looked at his walking figure and slowly started to realize you really liked this kid. After school , you went to do your hair. You decided to curl your hair with a messy bun. You put a red lip on and wore a purple cocktail dress. It was then almost 8. You were slightly nervous. You didn't want anything to happen and wanted it to be perfect. Suddenly your doorbell rang and you quickly put your shoes on. You opened the door and saw Emilio. He looked gorgeous with his tuxedo. He looked like someone put a spell on him as he looked at you in awe. "You look gorgeous, Y/N" "You don't look too bad yourself, Emilio" He put his hand out for you and you took it as you smiled at eachother. You were hoping that this was going to be the best night you've had in a few years.
