Max's POV💙

The rest of the day was a blur.

I'm pretty sure I walked into the wrong class. Once. No. Twice.

By the time I had to return home I realized that maybe I shouldn't have raged. But, me and apologizing don't go well together. I kept telling myself that I should just go home and apologize. So, that's what I did.

"Preston?" I took a step into our apartment. "Pres?" While shutting the door and locking it I could hear muffled sobs. My eyes widened and I speed walked towards our bedroom, only to see Preston on the floor, and his hands covering his face. I felt a pang in my chest. I hurt him this bad. Preston looked up at me and quickly wiped his eyes. "Hey Max" He whispered. His head fell back down. Preston wrapped his arms around his legs and curled into a ball, leaning on the wall. (I CAN RYME GUYS. I MIGHT HAVE NOT SPELLED THAT RIGHT BUT, WHO CARES) Slowly, I walked over to him and got onto my knees (Wink wink) "Pres.." I paused for a moment. "I'm so sorry Pressy, This was all my fault" His expression turned from sad, angry then to confused. I guess he's never heard me apologize like this. Well, of course we've had usaul, stupid fights but, it usaully takes me a few days to own up to it. Own up? Shit I sound like David. Anyway, I lifted his head up with my index finger and pecked his lips. They felt soft, and welcoming. Preston looked into my eyes and gave me a sincere smile. Then, he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me.

We were both on the floor, hugging, and enjoying eachothers company.

What did I do to deserve him?
