"LE! Wake up, we're gonna be late!" Hani yelled from her bed. It was 7:30, which meant that both of them had slept through their alarms. LE bolted from her bed, not wanting to be late for school, and quickly got ready. She was ready to leave, but her roommate was still getting ready. "Hani I swear if we're late because of you I'm going to kill you!" The pair had a near perfect attendance record, with one day off each, when there was an outbreak of colds at the school, and she didn't want to miss anything important. "Yah, I'm coming, I'm coming, jeez," she brushed past her, the pair rushed off to school hoping to get there on time.

*At school*

They had managed to get there at 7:58, as they had run almost all of the way. They were both exhausted, with a thin layer of sweat on their foreheads, but both pleased that they made it. They made their way to the homeroom, where they saw their other friends - Solji, Hyelin and Junghwa. LE's heart skipped a beat, seeing Solji: she was wearing the normal school uniform, with the skirt a little high (not that she was complaining), her her up in a ponytail, her makeup flawless, and she watched her chat away to the younger girls as she made her way over. "Hey girls, why are you so late?" Hani gave a guilty look, "We overslept..." The others laughed, and were slightly surprised, seeing as the pair never overslept when it came to school. "Well, at least you made it on time. Let's get going, first class always drags on the longest."

*First period*

A bit of backstory. LE had a monumental crush on Solji, and had had one for a while. Ever since she moved in with her mother, and taken her first look, she fell almost immediately. The way her hair flowed, he smile, her eyes, everything about her made LE want her. She had never considered herself gay, or even bisexual, but something about the girl had made her sparked something within her. LE spent most of her days daydreaming about asking her out on a date, them being happy and staying together, but that's all it stayed it. She was too scared to tell her. "Hey LE, you paying attention?" "Huh?" Solji was looking at her, as she had seemingly dozed off, and missed all of what Mr. Choi was talking about. "Oh, yeah, sorry. Just daydreaming," she said. "Daydreaming, huh? What about?" You, "Just what I'm gonna have at lunch," she replied, hoping it would satisfy her. Solji smiled, and went back to answering the questions in her workbook. LE continued to daydream, but also stare at the girl she likes.

At lunch, Solji and LE made their way to their usual table where the other girls were waiting. They were a diverse friendship group, each having similarities and interests in some areas, and completely different in others. The one thing they all had in common the most was their love of food. They could all eat their own body weight in food easily, and they knew it. They each had a tray with the days lunch menu, which happened to be kimchi noodles. As LE and Solji took their seats, they began to talk about the newest gossip: who's dating who, assignments for classes, breakups, and the like. But LE seemed disinterested. She had other things on her mind, something that she had been thinking about for a while, although never really going anywhere with it. She wondered if now was the time to do it. She had known the girls for over a year now, and had become close with all of them, especially Hani, who she treated like a sister.

After school had finished, the girls said their goodbyes and made their separate ways home. "So, you gonna tell me what's up?" Hani said, startling LE as she had been silent for so long. "What do you mean?" Hani glanced at her, "Well, something's been bothering you for a while now, and you've never said anything, so I felt like, as your best friend, to ask. So, what's up?" LE hesitated for a second, then remembered that she tells Hani everything. "Okay... well, for the past few months, I've had a crush on someone... and I always tried ignoring the feelings because I know nothing will happen. But... I have a crush on Solji." Hani had expected something else, but causally said, "Oh, I knew that. I was just waiting for you to finally admit it."
