More Than You Know

5. Relationship

Solji felt like a huge weight was lifted off of her. Telling LE was the best thing for her to do, even thought the manner in which she told her could've been a bit softer. But there she was, saying goodbye to the girl who she could now call her girlfriend, or at least something similar to it. They were going to see how it went with each other. She had always had dreams about this, but never expected it to become a reality, but now that it was, she couldn't stop smiling.

Hyelin walked in 10 minutes later with a grin. "Well, I just saw LE walk boy with a smile on her face, and you have one bigger than my head... So I take it everything went well?" Solji walked over to her, and said," Well... we're kinda... together!" And both girls screamed. They knew how important this was to Solji, and she wasted no time in asking how it happened. "Well, she came over, and I started babbling about her hating me and how I thought she would never want to see me again, and I blurted out that I liked her. And after she laughed a little at me freaking out, she told me she liked me too. And that's it really." Hyelin was a bit disappointed. She had always imagined it as a big occasion, fairy tale style. But hey, at least they were together now.

*LE and Hani's apartment*

"Hani! You home?", LE called out, hoping to tell her roommate the good news. As usual, she was sleeping. LE swears that girl could sleep through a hurricane, and she wouldn't be surprised if she did. LE shook her shoulder, causing the girl to wake up startled, hands ready to punch. "You dumb ass, I was about to knock you out!" Hani shouted, to which LE simply laughed, "Hani, you couldn't hit the side of a barn door." And Hani knew she was right, her co-ordination was pretty bad most of the time. "So what did you want? Everything okay with Solji?" Hani asked, hoping that nothing was gonna be awkward, "Well, me and Solji are kind of together now, so... I don't think things are awkward," LE replied. If Hani had a drink, this is where she would dramatically spit it out. "ITS ABOUT TIME," she yelled, so loud that their neighbors could probably hear. "Calm down, we're just seeing how things are going. Turns out she likes me too, who would've guessed?" Hani laughed nervously, "Yeah, hehe, who knew..."

Not long after she got back, they decided to make some food, as both were hungry. Simple Ramen noodles would do, and as Hani was cooking LE received a message from Solji.

Sloth: Hey, seeing as we have a day off tomorrow, I was wondering if you'd like to do something?

Yeah sure, what did you have in mind?

Sloth: I was thinking maybe we could see a movie? I'm pretty sure there's a new horror movie out, and Hani said it was good.

She thinks any film is good -_- but yeah, we can see it :)

Sloth: Okay, I'll see you tomorrow :)

LE walked over to Hani and said in a sing song voice, "Guess who's got a date," Hani replying with, "Use protection." LE stared at her friend dumbfounded, "We're both girls?" Hani realized how dumb she sounded, "Oh yeah. Never mind, forget I said anything," and went back to cooking. LE swears if she didn't know Hani had an IQ of 145, she would think she was stupid. But LE ignored it, she was too occupied with planning her date tomorrow: What she'll wear, thinking of what Solji will wear, what time they're seeing the film, what they're doing after. Date's are hard, she thought.

This all still seemed so surreal to her. Finally going on a date with Solji. She kept thinking it was a dream, that she was going tom wake up at any moment, the night after the party, and that everything that happened was part of her imagination. But it wasn't, and that thought alone kept her up all night smiling.

Sorry for the late updates, I'm doing this 5 at a time, so the next 4 chapters will have relatively short notes at the end, and also this chapter is quite short due to the length of the next one.
