the hospital visit

  Papyrus signed Impact out of school, and the trio went out and took Mettaton to the hospital to check for injuries. Mettaton had refused to let the doctors touch him until he saw Impact, and the doctors reluctantly allowed him to retrieve his son.they walked up to their already appointed room, and sat down, with Mettaton holding Impact in his loving embrace. "So, papa. What happened? Where did they take you?" Mettatons smile quickly faded when he remembered all that had happened. "They..." he began. The doctor rushed in. "hello, Mr. and Mr. Blook." he began. Mettaton and Impact were sitting on the bed, and the doctor made Mettaton lay down, and Impact had to go sit with his dad. "Well, Mr. Blook, you don't have any internal bruising, but you do have a lot of outer bruising. It's going to take you a while to heal... and your stab wound has already partially healed, so I think we're going to have you stay here for about 3 days or so." he concluded. "STAB WOUND??!!" Impact almost screamed. He started to panic. "Calm down, darling! It's not that bad!" Mettaton reassured his son. "WHAT HAPPENED!!!" he cried. "Darling, it's fine! No need to cry! I'm fine! They fixed me up a little  before we left to get you!" Mettaton swiftly took Impact by the hand and pulled him into a hug. "Don't worry, dear. Momaton's ok!" he started to shed a few tears, as he held on to his son. "Ok, papa. I just don't want you to stay hurt! Like with your arm!" Mettaton put a hand on his son's shoulder, and looked him straight in the eye. "Nothing will happen. We'll both stay safe. Promise me you'll stay safe?" Impact nodded his head, and sat on the bed, holding his papa's hand. Papyrus came over and sat down as well, and the three started to chat until the doctors had to take Mettaton for a health screening.
