Impact, with Mettaton tripping behind him, ran into the Snowdin Shopping Mall. "slow down, Darling. You don't want the person paying for this trip TO trip." Mettaton lightly scolded. "Sorry, momaton! I'm just excited! I NEED to get a pretty new outfit for New Years!" "of course, Darling!" Mettaton said as he pulled his coat closer to his body. He was wearing a long duster, with a beautiful sunhat and a pair of black sunglasses. Underneath, he had on a white T-shirt and a pair of boot-cut pants. He was wearing black and pink tennis shoes, instead of his usual boots. "Hey, dad? Why do you wear such weird outfits when we go out? And why do I have to, too?" Impact whined. Mettaton looked at his beautiful son. "If we didn't, darling, we would never get anything done!" mettaton laughed: it was true. If people knew who they were, they'd be surrounded by screaming fangirls asking for autographs. (one day some girl even asked him to sign her butt... weird.) the mediately went to Impacts favorite store for accessories: ICING. As soon as they walked in, Impact went straight for the earings. "Momaton! Can I get my ears pierced?! That would be soooo cool for Newyears!!!" he cheered excitedly. Mettaton sighed and went to the ear piercing lady. "The things I do for you, my little angel." mettaton laughed. "Hello! Who would you like do this for?" the lady asked. "My son wants his ears pierced," Mettaton replied. "Oh! Ok! And what is his name?" she asked happily. "Impact," Mettaton stated with a sigh. Here it comes... "wait... Impact? Like, as in the stars son's name?! Wow! Poor kid probably get's mixed up with the other a lot!" the lady laughed. "And who is paying?" "I am," Mettaton said. "Alright! And your name?" she asked. Oh god... mettaton sighed. "Mettaton Book." and with that, the lady dropped her pen. "Omg. NO WAY!!!" she yelled. "THE METTATON BLOOK!?!?! HERE?! OH. MY. GOD!!!!!!!!" she squealed. "Umm... can we just continue this? Thanks." mettaton said shyly. People were staring, some recognized him and squealed with quiet excitement. He knew that this would have happened. "Right, right. Of course!" she stammered. "I-it's an HONOR to do this for you, Mr. Blook!" she said excitedly. She did Impact's ears precisely and checked them out. As they walked out of the store, Metta heard several whispers. "Is that the gay pop star? The one with the child! Right over their!" "that's HIM!!! Omg!" "he's not THAT good. and He's GAY! That makes him even worse!" "what are you talking about! He's GORGEOUS!!!" "disgusting" "slut!" he decided to stop listening. He and Impact arrived at their next stop; Charlotte Russe. As they looked around Impact gave a small gasp and ran to the dress section. He was staring at a glittery silver, ankle length, sequined dress, with no sleeves, and came up into a turtleneck.

"MOMATON!!! Can I get it?!" Impact whisper-shouted. "Well, we have to make sure it fits... but otherwise, i don't see why not!" they continued shopping, and Impact finally found the makeup. "Ok, we need some New Years GLAM! If you don't shine brighter then the NewYork ball drop, you're not doing Newyears right!" Mettaton laughed at his son's statement and looked through the selection. "OOOOHHH!!! This one is PRETTY!!!" Impact stated in awe as he was holding an NYX cosmetics pallet. It was a New Years one and had a lot of silvers and golds, and everything was covered in glitter. "Oh! That one IS gorgeous! We'll take it!" he took the pallet and walked over to the woman's department. Mettaton finally uncovered a beautiful red sparkly dress. It had no sleeves and came down the floor. "It's PERFECT!" he squealed with excitement. He showed it to impact. "Hmmm.... I like it! Although it needs something EXTRA. We can fix it at home!" Impact finally said after looking at the dress for a few minutes. Impact was good at figuring out what something needed, but mettaton usually did the seamstressing. They came to the counter to check out, and mettaton slammed his foot on the ground, pulling his son close. "Momaton? What are you-" Mettaton ran to the back of the room. "Dad!" Impact started to yell. "SHH! Be quiet. Be really quiet." he said as a man started to speak. "Give us all you're money! ALL of it!" a man yelled. "Alright! Alright, just, calm down sir! Please don't hurt the customers!" the lady at the desk nervously chided. "oh! Yeah! Speaking of customers, I heard that a certain celebrity is here! Where is he?!" he slammed his fist on the counter. "W-what celebrity?! We've never had someone famous here! I swear!" the lady was being honest; she had no clue that he was there. "WHERE IS HE! If you don't tell me, I'll start shooting." the man growled. "That man would be worth a lot of money. We have the cash, but we want the star." Mettaton started shaking. He was crying. "Dad? Why do they want you?" Impact asked, equally as scared as he was. "I-i don't k-know," he replied quietly. "I heard something." another man said. "You! Close the gates. No one is getting out of here." Mettaton heard the gates close. "Nononononononono!" he started to cry silently. He took out his phone. "Momaton? What are you doing?" Impact asked quietly. "Texting your father," he answered almost incomprehensible. "WE KNOW YOU'RE HERE! JUST COME OUT, AND NO ONE GETS HURT!" the first man yelled.

M: Honey, I may not make it back to the house today. I'm going to give impact my phone. Someone is coming to get me. I don't know who but they are threatening to shoot. Contact the police. And hurry!

P: Whats going on?! METTATON! Don't! I don't want to lose you! I'm calling the police now!

M: Thank you... I love you, dear.

He shut his phone off and handed it to Impact. "Take this and head home. I love you." a gunshot fired, and screams echoed through the hallway. he kissed his son on the forehead. "Ma? What-" Mettaton stood up and took off his hat and sunglasses. a hole was put in the ceiling where the man was. "Here I am," he said, almost crying. "OH?! So you finally decided to show. How kind of you!" the man rushed forward and attacked Mettaton. "Impact... don't. Move." he whispered to himself. The man grabbed Mettatons wrists tightly and pointed his gun at his head. "Don't even try to stop us, or the gun goes off." and with that, the three men forcefully dragged Metta out of the shop. "IMPACT! RUN! DON'T LOOK BACK!" he cried. "Oh! So your son was their, too?! Man! If only we had the time to go get 'em. Well, I think you'll be worth enough, anyway." Impact sat where his papa had just sat a few minutes ago. He cried out loud now, and the shopkeeper heard his cries and came to find him. She pulled back the rack where he sat, and Impact got up and ran.
