Regina, you need love!” the green fairy said.

Regina just scoffed and rolled her eyes. Like she could find time to love, AND take on all here duties? Please.

“Here, I can make it easier for you,” she said as she pulled out a pouch and dropped it on the table.

“What’s that?” Regina asked her, but she just smirked and ripped it open. She stuck her hand in and when it was retrieved her hand was glowing. Like actually glowing.

“Tink, what is that?” she asked for the second time.

“This right here, is what’s going to solve your problem. It’s pixie dust.” She said excitedly. She seemed way too happy for someone with dust in their hand, Regina thought.

“Right, and how is a handful of glowing dust going to solve my problems?” She asked skeptically. But on the inside, she was feeling something with great resemblance to hope. She tried to not let it show, getting her hopes up will only make it worse when things come crshing down.

She gasps, “You’ve never seen pixie dust before? Regina, this is magic! I sprinkle it over you, and it will lead you to your destiny! It will lead you to your happy ending, someone to love Regina. It will lead you to your soulmate!”

When Regina continued to look hesitant, she decided to help give her the push she needed, “Don’t you want that? Don’t you want to be happy? Regina you are miserable! Imagine what it would be like. To not be stuck in the clutches of your mother. To not be in the hands of the king. I know you want his Regina. You just have to be brave enough to try,” Tink begged.

This made Regina think. She knew that the moment she got home, she would be in deep trouble. She didn’t tell anyone where she was going, she just up and left with the fairy. But… If she never goes home… she won’t have to face her mother, Leopold, his little girl, or anyone else. That did sound rather appealing to her. But she was just so afraid. She couldn’t love again. She couldn’t risk the life of another innocent. She was to afraid to do this. And it was all because of that night. That night she was to run away and be free. But not alone, no, she was going to run away with her Fiance. With her Daniel. ‘Oh Daniel’ she thought. Her first love, her stable boy. She could still remember the first day they met, they absolutely hated each other. She thought he was a disgusting peasant who smelled of horse dung and was way to cocky for her taste , while he thought her to be a snobby, stubborn, over privileged princess who thought she could do whatever because of her title. And yet they managed to fall in love. She loved everything about him. His sandy blonde hair with perfect waves that she longed to run her fingers through once again. His piercing blue eyes that, somehow, always managed to see right through her. They fell in love in the best of ways, and brought the best in each other. But, it was a hidden relationship. They had to hide it from her mother and Leopold, because if they had found out he would surely be killed. Which he was. And by the hands of her own mother. They were supposed to run away that night. Be free and get married. But her mother found them, god knows how, and she ripped his heart out. Right in front of her. She killed the man Regina loved fight in front of her, and didn’t even bat an eye. The love of her life was ripped away from her just like that. And ever since then, she has been closed off. She put up walls around herself, to be protected. She was no longer the sweet and carefree teenager, she was damaged and cold towards everyone. And that’s how Tink found her.

“Regina? Regina! Oh for gosh sakes snap out of it!” Tink yelled at her. Regina gasps when she realizes tink is still there.

“What’s wrong? You were miles away there for a while,” She questioned. Regina ignored her question and cut right to the chase, “Tink, you know I can’t find someone else. We will both end up getting hurt! I don’t care if this guy is my soulmate, he’s better off without me to mess up his life! I’ve destroyed enough lately, and frankly I’m getting tired of it!” Regina was finally starting to show anger. After what happened with Daniel, she just became quiet and held back, she never truly showed her anger unless she was alone.

“Regina, I know you’re afraid. You have every right to be! But you can’t hide yourself away forever, you need to find love. You need to find someone to help you out of this dark path that I see you heading towards. I know I just met you Regina, but I don’t want to see that happen. So please! Please just try!” Tink was practically begging with her now, and Regina knew that she was right, she just was so afraid.
“Will you come with me?” Regina asked.

Tink smirked, “Of course I will!”

“Then I guess it wouldn’t hurt to give it a chance,” she sighed. Tink was practically bursting with excitement as she took the pixie dust she had in her hand and sprinkled it on Regina. She gasped when she looked at her hands and noticed there was sparkly green surrounding it. It then started to form a green sparkly line. She realized it was leading here somewhere. To someone.
