🌺Madison🌺
I sat patiently at a restaurant table outside, waiting for my sisters. I had talked to my dad and he gave me their numbers so I was able to set this up. I left my Mom's house because we got into a bad fight, I wanted to meet my sisters and my father and she was really against it.
I told her she couldn't stop me from meeting my family and getting to know them anymore because I'm not a child and I'm not naive. When I was younger I never understood why my father didn't come around and why my sisters never reached out and why I didn't know them. She would tell me because my father was a deadbeat and my sister were hoes who hated us both.
I believed her and never thought much of it. I used to see them on commercials all the time growing up. My mom used to say, "you want to see them so bad then there you go. They're right there on tv, if they loved you you would be up there with them. But they don't, that's why you're here watching them."
I didn't know it at the time, but she was just turning me against them. They were just little girls seven eight, they couldn't do much. They couldn't say bring my estranged little sister and put her on tv with us. I followed them on MySpace, then Facebook, then Instagram, then twitter, then Snapchat. I followed them through the years with the new social medias.
I was so curious, I wanted to know them. I don't have any other siblings and I always wanted sisters especially since I knew I had them. Recently I told my mom I wanted to meet them and see my dad and that's how everything started. "Madison?" Christina said and I looked up and smiled.
"Yea," I said standing up and she smiled and gave me a hug. Then she took her seat across from me and Asia hugged me then sat next to Christina. I sat back down and smiled as Christina smiled and Asia had a small smile. I don't feel any type of way because she has a small smile. I know Christina is more uppidy and Asia is more chilled.
"So how have you been?" Christina asked and I smiled. "Good,....well aside from leaving slash getting put out of my moms house and deciding to live with our father." I said and they raised their eyebrows. "Oh really?" Asia asked and I nodded. "Yea, he's the reason I was able to get your numbers and text you guys." I said and they nodded.
"Well you might not know it yet, but he isn't the best father despite what Chris thinks. He isn't even fit to be a parent, I feel like I was neglected. He was living off of our money anyways." Asia said and I was confused because he seemed like a caring parent.
"What do you mean despite what I think? I don't think he was the best dad, or even remotely a good dad." Christina said and Asia shrugged. "Well you could've fooled me, running into his arms, calling him daddy like a child, and still paying his bills when you have a fiancé, a infant baby, and a house of your own." Asia said and Christina shrugged.
"I don't want him to be homeless or in a shelter, who do you think will take him in? I'll rather pay his bills than have him in my home." Christina said and I just kept sipping my lemon tea. "The point is I don't think you should live with him. I don't blame you for wanting to get to know your father and sisters that you barely know, but he isn't someone you want to know or at least live with." Asia said and Christina nodded.
"Well it's the only place I have to go now, so I have no choice. I'll be fine, after all although he's not the best father, he is still our father." I said and Christina shook her head. "Are you kidding me? You're sitting across from two of your older sisters who are very successful and have the money and enough love to take you in." Christina said and Asia nodded.
"If you want to stay in LA I have a house here, and if you don't want to stay in LA Chris lives in Atlanta." Asia said and Christina nodded. "Really? You guys will take in a complete stranger who's underage? You know my mother can say you kidnapped me right?" I asked shocked and they both laughed.
"Well for one you're not a complete stranger, you're our little sister. Secondly, we can take custody of you if it comes down to it." Christina said and I smiled. "Cool, how long are you in LA?" I asked Christina. "This weekend but I'm debating if I want to move back home." She said and I looked at Asia.
"Just let us know who you want to stay with," Christina said and Asia chuckled. "Yea because you're definitely not staying with our father, I don't even feel like he deserves that title." Asia said and Christina laughed. "You said you have a infant?" I asked Christina and she nodded. "My daughter, your niece Euphoria." She said and I smiled.
"Do you have any pictures?" I asked and she smiled and showed me pictures on her phone. "She's beautiful, where is she?" I asked and she kept her smile. "Thanks, and she's with her father right now." She said and I smiled. "Alrighty I'm not eating here, I'm not even hungry. So are y'all ready to go or are y'all staying to eat?" Christina asked Asia stood up.
"We can go, are you hungry?" Asia asked me and I shook my head. We all got up and made our way to Christina's truck. "You guys must've been lucky growing up with everything you ever wanted, going to the best private schools and stuff." I said and they looked at each other and burst out laughing. They looked back at me with smiles and Asia shook her head.
"Are you crazy? You're the lucky one, not us. Those private schools you talk about are filled with a bunch of stuck up bitches. It wasn't even bearable without Chris, my best friend Chester, and TJ." Asia said before she got quiet and I saw her smile fall before she turned back around.
Chris glanced at Asia before rubbing her shoulder and I knew she had history or a bad memory of Chester or TJ. "We didn't have a childhood, modeling stole that. Well not really, because there are children models who have good childhoods. Our father stole our childhood with his greed, he made us work all the time and practice this and that all the time.
I'd say you're the lucky one for not having to deal with what we had. When you're known and have money, you don't get the chance to make real friends. Everyone's looking for a come up, and everyone around are just a bunch of yes men and ass kissers. You start to wonder who you can trust because even people who really seem trustworthy are trained to appear that way just so they can get close enough and do you dirty.
The only true friends I had and was with everyday and trusted were Asia and my baby father." She said as I felt the uneasiness in the drive as soon as she said that meaning something happened to break that trust. She spoke in past tense using were instead of are, so maybe she can't trust her baby father or Asia or both.
"The point is don't let the money and success fool you, we don't have the perfect or an easy life." Asia said calmly as I can see something happened between them two because Asia is walking on eggshells and Christina is clearly flustered. "Where are we going?" I asked and trying to change the subject to relieve the tension and awkwardness from the ride.
"Auntie Rae house, she's our favorite Aunt. I'm staying with her while I'm here in LA, you'll love her and she'll be happy to see you." Christina said then the car fell silent, and no one spoke up so the rest of the ride was silent.
