I woke up first and realized as I got out of bed Colby was on Brennen's couch.

I snickered and got up, starting the Keurig on Brennen's kitchen table. The sound must have woken someone up, because I heard a groan and feet on the floor.

I turned and to my surprise a shirtless Colby was standing there rubbing his eyes.

"What are you making?" He asked in a raspy sleep voice.

"Coffee. Want some?" I attempted to be normal as possible and it worked amazingly.

More proof that I do not like him.

"Nah, I'll be going crazy if I drink coffee, especially when I have a video ahead of me."

I nodded and watched Brennen slowly get up, shirtless and fluffing his hair.

"Hey babe." He kissed my cheek and from the corner of my eye I could have sworn I saw Colby flinch.

"Want coffee?" I asked him softly, basking in the thought that I loved Brennen and Colby liked me even if it wasn't true.

"Yeah, sounds good." He got two mugs out and I filled both of them up.

"Hey man, I gotta get home. Thanks for letting me crash though, it was fun." Colby suddenly said.

"Yeah man, see ya." Brennen half waved with two fingers as he reached for his mug.

"I wouldn't-"

Before I finished he took a swig of coffee and started screaming. Obviously he was new to the whole new coffee= hot as hell thing.

"I tried to warn you." I laughed and grabbed his mug before he spilled it everywhere.

"Could have been a little faster on the warning!" He yelled and stuck his tongue out, fanning it.

I laughed, but held him as he said many curse words and "owed" a lot.

"Hey, I got to go to work, so I'll see you later." I said, mentally smacking myself for being later than usual.

"Yeah that's fine, will you come back afterwards?" He asked.

"Of course." I said in a soft tone again. We had already talked about his trust issues, so I was always checking in on him anyways.

"Okay, bye." He said and kissed me.

I grabbed my stuff and went to my car, heading for my house to get my work clothes on.

After the gate opened and I was let in, I got out of my car and got weird looks.

"Well, look at you." Skylar, the gay desk worker for the apartment buildings, said.

"What's wrong with fluffy pajamas?" I asked, faking hurt.

"Nothing, it's just the fact that your coming to your house in them, indicating you slept somewhere else." He raised his eyebrows and checked his watch, "and this person was important enough to make you late for work." He laughed as I cursed and zoomed up the steps until I hit 302 and unlocked the door.
