Colby x reader

Chapter 7

"Okay guys, we made it through the night and honestly, I don't think we'll be going back." Elton laughed when Colby agreed. 

"I saw you and Colby back there, stuff is happeningg.." Brennen told me quietly singing the end.

"No, he was probably just scared or something, nothing is going to happen." I told him, trying to convince myself more than him.

The time it took to walk back, get a taxi, drive to the hotel, and get food made it about 8 in the morning when we got to sleep, Colby was a little closer than last night, it didn't necessarily bother me, but it made me think if this really was the beginning of our relationship again. 

I honestly hoped it was. 

"Wake up guys!" It's  noon!" Elton yelled to us, I felt a pillow hit me then ricocheting to Colby who groaned, flying the pillow back over me and to the other bed.

I got up tiredly, taking the bathroom since Brennen and Elton were already dressed. 

I got out to see Colby getting out of bed still, he wasn't even fully out yet.

"Wow." I laughed while he went in the bathroom with clothes, then came out fully dressed but still tired looking. 

I felt the urge to go up and hug him, but knew not to. I mean, we weren't together right? The small things happening meant nothing, their just being projected hugely in my head. 

I walked past Colby, risking a side glance to see him risking the same glance, we both quickly turned back around. 

"Okay guys! Next up we're going to a robot thing." Elton laughed with his camera out now.

We all laughed and played for the camera, I took a risk of brisking Colby's arm, to my surprise he grabbed the hand that brisked his arm softly, holding it until the camera came on, then dropped it even though I'm pretty sure the viewers didn't know we were split up. 

"Okay we're here, I'm going to turn off the camera then turn it back on when we get in." Elton told the camera and we walked in, handing our tickets in and finding a seat.

I made sure to seat myself away from the camera which meant the end, Colby sat by me, Brennen by Colby, then Elton. The camera went back on, but barely went over to us unless one of the boys did something stupid. 

I saw a big dragon thing and screamed "GODZILLA!" But other than that, I stayed out of the screen area.

Half way through Colby put his hand on my thigh without looking at me, so I put my hand on his without looking at him as he did. 

"Hey, maybe we should go outside for a minute.. call me when your out." Colby whispered in my ear which sounded almost like nothing because of the loud surroundings. 

I interpreted what he said for a second, then reached over to Elton, "I'm going to the bathroom." I told him and he nodded.

I got up, sliding my way through people towards the door. Before I left out completely I saw Colby watching me, he gave me a nod, then I left walking outside the multi colored building into the multi colored loud area outside. 

I called Colby which rang for a while then hung up. Colby walked outside and showed me his phone which read 'mom' with my phone number. 

"It fooled them." He laughed with me as we strolled away from the building that should literally read 'SEIZURE WARNING'. 

"So why'd you pull me out?" I asked in a casual friendly tone.

"Well.." Colby stopped walking, taking my hand softly, waiting for me to hold his. 

When I finally wrapped my fingers in his after thinking about it, he pushed me to the dark cool brick easily, but his mouth crushed against mine not so easily. 

I kissed back after gaining my composure which took a minute or two, Colby took my kissing him back as an invitation to stick his tongue straight into my mouth. 

I gasped a little, but soon settled again. He was going to fast for my confused brain to handle.

He finally let go of me with a red face and a dimpled smile, "Sorry." He said plainly. 

"Uh.. What am I supposed to say? It's okay?" I laughed with him for a minute.

"Yes!" I heard Brennen cheer. 

To my horror, was Brennen with his phone out, most likely snapchatting us, and Elton with his camera out, laughing the whole time. 

"Really guys?" Colby smiled.

"You thought you were slick?" Brennen laughed, starting another snapchat video. 

Colby looked at me, wiggling his eyebrows once, then scooping me up squealing and kicking. After I realized what was happening, I happily kissed Colby first this time, letting the cameras soak up every bit of the new feeling that wasn't there before.

The first time dating him wasn't love.

This is love.

Carelessly kissing a boy with a career to lose if he dates the wrong person or does the wrong thing. Both of us moved with each other, he held me like I weighed nothing. I was once just an object to him, now I feel a whole new feeling coming from him, from me. 

This is love. 

I thought I knew what it felt like, but I never knew that it'd be with my technical ex in front of my other technical ex and the guy who's soon to be my technical boss with cameras out in a different country..

Yeah...

I guess this is love.
