Colby x reader

Chapter 4

I froze again, but thankfully for me, Colby swiftly picked me up like I was just a pillow and carried me off to his room. I clung to his neck for dear life like he could sear Brennen's face out of my head, I could see Colby's face and grip on me matching mine. 

When he closed the door, I heard cat calls and people laughing from below, Colby had already started pacing. 

"Did Brennen and you go public Y/n?" Colby asked. 

"No, we were almost brand new too." As I heard myself say it, one problem diminished. 

Colby relaxed suddenly, "Really? I had gotten so worried!" 

"What? What if Brennen exposes us?" I yelled.

"Nah, he's cool, he wouldn't." Colby laughed, but I still sped out of his room and searched for Brennen with a smile and a nice stride to cover up that I was frantic and worried. I saw Colby come down the steps at the hundredth cat call before I slipped out of the front door. 

Brennen was sitting on the steps, no Maggie in sight. 

"Brennen?" I said softly. 

"Oh! Y/n hey! I had to take a breath, I got a bit tipsy!" Brennen laughed. 

"I know your a light weight, but I saw you with punch most of the time. I am sorry, Colby and I accidentally kissed when he was helping me get over you and-"

-"Y/n. It's fine. We just weren't that good of a match, but I have seen the way Colby looks at you and I am still friends with both of you. Me and him will still make videos, you and me might prank him one day. It just took me some time to adjust." Brennen pulled me into a platonic hug and laughed lightly, we both went inside together. 

I smiled at Colby who caught me as soon as I walked in from the stairs where he was probably surveying the crowd. I saw out of the corner of my eye, Brennen gave Colby a thumbs up then pushed me all the way to the steps. 

"I hand you her hand my good sir." Brennen pushed me to Colby in a weird voice he sometimes used with Big Nick. 

"Thank you Brennen, this means a lot." Colby said in a normal voice and bro hugged him. 

As soon as Brennen had put himself in the crowd again, I jumped on Colby, throwing my arms around his neck happily and he spun me a little.

"Let's go party!" Colby yelled and we made our way to the front of the dancing and danced around, then Colby ran back upstairs and grabbed his bathing suit, "Wanna come?" Colby yelled. 

"Can't!" I yelled back. 

Colby only smirked and held out Devyn. 

"Come on! You look my size, I'll get you a bathing suit!" Devyn's voice was lost in the crowd because she was so quiet, but I interpreted it through certain words I heard and reading her lips. 

"See you when you get out!" Colby said, running through the crowd, out the backdoor, and straight onto the diving bird penguin style. 

Devyn held my hand and pushed through the crowd, once we were in Corey's room, she began throwing bathing suits at me.
