CHAPTER 3: FLASHBACK

After an unknown man abducted and captured the three teenage girls in his basement in unknown reasons, the girls react differently to their captivity, Claire and Marsia are frankly oppositional intending to escape or,where possible, to fight but neither succeeds. But Casey is different, as the problem arises Casey's flashback suddenly interpersed the action, as she sits shaking with a panic attack, tears breaking out releaving her painful memory.

13 years ago...

5 year old Casey, her Father together with her Uncle John is currently sitting and eating their dinner peacefully while her Uncle John tells his story and skills in haunting inside the forest.

"I hear the tiniest little splash and here it comes. A freak of nature, like this." putting his fork down, Uncle John tell to the 5 year old Casey the story of how he used to haunts wild animals in the forests.

"So, he comes across the stream and he's so tall that the water doesn't even get to his belly. Then he stops. And my heart's coming out of my chest." he continued while reenacting the scene to them earning a giggle to Casey.

"You got buck fever."Casey's dad stated looking to his brother.

"Uncle John's got buck fever." he said smiling, looking towards his 5 year old daughter.

5 year old Casey just simply nod, smiling as she agreed to her dad.

"That's not true, Casey. Your daddy's a liar." Uncle John replied waving a hand, encouraging her niece to believe him.

"How big was the rack?" Casey's dad asked his brother.

"It was huge." John answered.

"Where are you supposed to look when you shoot, Casey?" he turned his question to Casey, who's eating silently listening to both of them.

"At the body." she replied muching her food.

"Then why was he looking at the rack?" he asked again.

"'Cause he had buck fever." she answered laughing, the two man also laughed after hearing her, as they both continued digging their foods.

"She'll say anything you say." John stated jokingly amused by the answer of her niece.

"You gonna do that when you get your mentored hunting license in three years?" Casey's dad asked again, shrugged at what his brother accused him.

"No, sir." she simply replied.

"Make sure you put your gloves on after you finish. Your feet and your hands get cold first out there. " her father reminded her, finishing off the subject.
